I spent a lot of time deciding if I wanted to write this review. I first came across RV Country through RVTrader on June 8th, did a virtual walkthrough on the 10th, and decided to go see it in person on the 13th, got paperwork taken care of, informed multiple people no gloss on the tires since I needed to take it down a dirt road, and arranged for the Pre-Delivery Inspection to start on the 15th, with expectations to pick it up on the 19th. I was called on the 17th that there was an issue with the living room slide and it wouldn’t be ready until the 23rd, good thing for the $2k PDI, said I would pick it up on the 26th and arranged that day off work. On the 25th, called to confirm for the next day told just got pulled over to be washed. AFTER arriving on the 26th was told still waiting on parts for an axle, first time hearing there was an issue. Was taken out to do the “turnover walkthrough” where a cleaning crew was finishing up and found multiple issues; tires had a dressing on, stuff in the trashcan, smoke detector didn't have a battery, a TV did not have a remote, and awning was still dripping wet so not given opportunity to dry before being closed up. Found the keys in the freezer, 3, decided to check them; deadbolt on the main door and the handle/deadbolt on the rear door, one was for the basement compartments, one went to nothing. There were NOT keys for the front bay, the main door handle, the outside kitchen compartment, nor the freshwater fill. I refused to sign the acceptance inspection and proceeded to walkthrough with the manager and told that they would arrange for it to be delivered to me July 2nd. I got a call June 30th that it would be delivered the next day. I met the driver at a gas station and immediately noticed mud all over both sides of the front, which the driver admitted having to go through some wet dirt… Where? I don’t know. No paperwork, no follow-up inspection, no professionalism, basically “I had it, you got it” and left. The temporary license plate I’m pretty sure I saw the last time I was there, not included, but trash was empty, TV remotes were all accounted for, smoke alarm had a battery, and tires were free of gloss. I found the key ring with 3 new keys, 2 for the main door and one for the front bay/outside kitchen/freshwater fill. So, I had keys for everything that was missing but no keys for what was previously good. Immediately called the manager and discussed the situation that they’d looked and asked around but couldn’t find those keys and I should contact a locksmith and send them the bill. Alright, fine, I just want to be done with this process and enjoy the rig that I bought so the next day I took care of the locks. Even after all of that I wasn’t set on dragging RV Country’s because even though issues came up, THEY WORKED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. The cleaning crew is absolutely atrocious, vents covered in dust, behind the couch wasn’t even looked at, lights underneath the cabinet weren’t cleaned, main door wasn’t cleaned after the handle was replaced, cabinet that the trash can lives in wasn’t cleaned, under the sink wasn’t cleaned, kitchen blinds weren’t cleaned, the rear ramp wasn’t unfolded to be cleaned, the plywood under the bed is warped, and whatever they did to the living room slide caused it to dig into the floor the very first time opened. Did I expect to get an absolutely perfect 5th wheel? No, I was buying used and knew there would likely be blemishes, but none of my frustrations are indicative of a used rig, they are a result of lack of attention to detail. If buying a $40k trailer from a dealership then there should be no expectation that I would need to take a vacuum to the vent screens or wipe the door and lights. This configuration is what I was looking for, size, weight, capability, it checks the boxes I need. Would I recommend RV Country to a friend? I’m going to say no. Would I ever do business with them in the future? Again, no. It feels like if someone is not paying $200k for a new Brinkley or Grand Design, that they are an afterthought until complaints start.

Buying the 5th wheel was actually a good experience. I am late in writing this review since my last experience with service was Oct 2025. Since then, there is Service Mgr, Bob, who I have been working with and he is doing great things, I will give them another try since they made things right. Hey, they listened to my complaints and wanted to make things right for my past experience. So, I rated them 4 star because of that. Also, I did recently purchase a cummins generator there and was a great experience and better price than other places I called. So, now for the older post for the poor experience under the last Service Mgt that since then, they made right: I like the parts dept, great inventory and prices but had a poor service experience! As for service last year, they were all about the money and I felt like I was bothering them. Too many things to explain, but the first time I called to make appt, he said you must be ontime or we charge you. So I was ontime, had to wait 45min, you can hardly see them behind the counter hiding behind large monitors. Every warranty issue was a battle and cannot write a book on. Oh, and they ruined my 2-1yr old batteries by not using the disconnect I instructed and let them go all the way dead...twice! With all that said, I would still give them another shot since they heard me out and were flexible to make things right again, which I appreciate.

Our service tech Freddy was very friendly and helpful during some warranty issues we were having with our new trailer. He kept us informed all along the process. Very happy with the service.

The service department staff members are definitely the bright spot at RV Country. From dropping off to picking up our trailer it felt as if they were always very friendly and knowledgeable. I have had Jillian as my service advisor multiple times and she has been nothing but outstanding. From explaining everything to make sure I understand it, to pursuing every dealership and manufacturer warranty, I always felt like she was doing everything possible to make sure that any issues were taken care of. Big thanks to the service department for all the hard work!

Sales people and the assigned staff who review the RV with new buyers were great! We had a bit of issue since our assigned person was double booked and we had a sub who was less informed and not as thorough as the other person would have been. We also gave the dealer two weeks to prepare for our pick up of the vehicle, but there were still quite a few issues that appeared during our walk through and orientation. As it stands, parts need to be mailed to us and we have to figure out some means of getting the repairs done (our home is 3500 miles away from the CA dealer.). Having said that, we DO love our new RV!
