Bottom Line: An outstanding job for a Kitchen Renovation in the late spring of 2026!

As residents of Heritage Hunt, in Gainesville we take a lot of pride in the appearance of our home. At 23 years old, and it's second owners it was time to update the kitchen. Although in our particular model, it's not a large space the Slate Design and Remodel team brought their resources to bear to create a wonderful, efficient and beautiful space.

What makes them different? The planning, and they take a great deal of time and care to do that, working with you in a series of visits to their office to work through marvelous design choices, development of a comprehensive and complete statement of work, and drawing and virtual renderings that will give you a great "Vision" of what the final product will look like. Stacy was our designer, and she was incredible to work with.

They remained on schedule, were very good in their interpersonal relationships and their actual tradesmen were a pleasure to work with.

They will NOT be the most inexpensive option you look at, but if you value superior workmanship, than the price you pay will greatly be exceeded by the quality you receive.

We highly commend them to you!

We used Slate Design & Remodel to update our kitchen, replace flooring in the kitchen and living area, update our powder room, replace stair ballusters / handrails / treads, do interior painting, install lighting, and a few other small projects. The only work we had done in those spaces in the past 20 years was painting and replacing a few appliances. This remodeling was long overdue! Stacey guided us through the design process with patience and skill. She created a look that totally transformed our space and provided significantly more storage. The team that spent three months at our house was respectful, efficient, neat, and talented. I worked from home three days a week throughout most of the project. We love spending time in our new kitchen! Thank you Slate Design & Remodel!

Not sure where to start, but it starts great and ends better. When we met with Adam and Stacy, we felt comfortable. Not like we were being sold, but being listened to. Then Stacy continued with us in coming up with designs that represented what we described and then worked to improve kitchen flow and usability. Instead of hiring a General Contractor, we felt like we gained a partner.

As the process continued, Jacob and Jessica supported us. Every one of their workers was professional and talented. Not that every day was perfect, but they always made it right in the end.

So then are they finished with us? Not at all. They are standing behind their work and making sure we have something that makes us proud to boast about for years to come.
