I had a very positive experience with StorageMart. The facility is clean, secure, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions. Renting a storage unit was quick and easy, and the prices were reasonable. I also appreciated how convenient the location and access hours were. I would definitely recommend StorageMart to anyone looking for reliable storage services.

I've been a long time customer here with storagemart renting 3 lockers. Manager Jenny is a super Star employee. She's pleasant, knowledge, efficient, super helpful and always there to help. I'm lucky I know Jenny & the staff here. However I have to move out due to price are higher than I can afford. But I wish them the best. I still recommend others to rent here, it's the best facility. If I can rate this, I would give 7 Stars for Jenny and overall 5 Stars.

Great experience at Storage Mart today! Navneet Kaur was super helpful and showed us a few options, she made it stress free and easy to rent our first storage locker. Access was great both during hours & after hours. The facilities are clean, bright and feel maintained & safe. A positive experience. Highly recommend.

Broke into our unit! UNSAFE!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!
We just started rent the unit two weeks before, and already got broke into our storage unit,
The whole units got broke in our floor, and they said THEY CANNOT DO ANY REFUND, which is stupid, because I did not want to rent such an unsecured storage from first place if I knew this was happening occasionally,
They already confirmed it happened 5 TIMES already only for this year alone, which is absolutely unacceptable number
The staff already admitted, the head office of storage mart is not going to do anything to improve the security, but honestly the owner should do something about security, this is scams! compare with U HAUL near by, the security is unbelievably poor
And it's not just about broke in, it's about they did not offer anything form their side even though it is their fault, like no offer to move to different unit until we requested, no offer for refund, not telling us how they are fixing the security issue too,

The unit has nice big space, but they broke into from ceiling and there is only weak wire on ceiling, the door do not have any alarm on too,
Our unit when you take a look in the corner there was a wide open gap that anyone could easily see through. NO real ceiling protection at all.
And after our unit got broke in, we saw our ceiling (different part ) the wire being bent

Yes, U-Haul might be a bit more expensive, but at least you won’t have to worry about your belongings getting stolen.
This place should know how much stress I had, and how much time i spent to move boxes to new storage because of the situation
If you want to welcome the thief to get rid of your trash you should use this storage mart, otherwise Avoid StorageMart at all costs !!
the risk is simply not worth it.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
If there was less than 1 I would have given them.
I booked a unit and confirmed that I booked it and deposit was withdrawn from my credit card.
When I went to Storage Mart to receive it with all my boxes, I found out that they cancelled my booking without telling me and they did not even re-imburse me my deposit until I went that day. Why did they not tell me when they cancelled and why did they not automatically re-imburse me my deposit when they cancelled my booking??!!! So they kept my money but cancelled my booking!! What do you call that???!!!
Poor poor customer service!! Don't waste your time and money here. Look for a place that does proper business with customer service that respects you!

I am absolutely furious. Do NOT choose StorageMart if you’re outside of Canada for a couple month. Due to their system malfunctioned, causing my automatic payment to fail, and as a result, I was hit with late fees, a lock-cutting charge, and threatened with having my stuff auctioned off. The staff shows me they have my card information in their system but didn’t bother to notify me by phone or email final notice. Instead, I had to show up in person, pay the fees, and take the fall for their incompetence. This is completely unacceptable!"

Storage Mart took my money and rented out my storage locker without telling me!

Context:

I had missed my check in date over the weekend and received an email yesterday (Monday) saying to come in to complete the sign in process.

The very next day (Tuesday) I go in to complete the sign in process and the customer service representative informed me that my locker had been rented to someone else and that there were no more lockers available in that size.

They had "auto-vacated" my unit and re-rented it to someone else even though the email mentioning to complete the check in process was sent to me just the day before?

The email made no mention of losing the rental within 24 hours, rather it said "come in person by the end of the month" to complete the check in process.

Am I crazy or does this seem unreasonable?

No refund of anything and was told to come back at the end of the month and maybe there will be some units available.

Overall, very displeased with Storage-Mart.

I'd like a refund at minimum, or how about what I paid for in the first place?

Storage Mart on East Kent Ave, Vancouver, is great. I ordered a second locker online and phoned them to follow up, and the assistant offered me a similar locker to the one I already own, right next to it - a difference of 8 floors! She was super friendly and efficient in making the necessary arrangements. I have been with them for many years and can recommend. E.g. if you can't make a payment on time, feel free to negotiate with them. They are very understanding and professional.

I've been renting for almost 2 years now and service at the reception has always been courteous and friendly. HOWEVER, rental price on my small storage has gone up 37% since !! For "dynamic pricing" reasons I was told are out of their control. It was suggested I move to another unit to benefit of any ongoing deals. Quite inconvenient as I'm out of the country! Other customer here did same only for her price to be readjusted to previous. NOT worth the hassle, and I wish I had rented elsewhere

I had called many places around the Richmond,BC area but nothing was affordable until I called StorageMart. They had one available for an affordable price and went to see it. The person who answered my call was pleasant and nice. Jess who served me at the location was pleasant and was able to answer all my concerns. Storage area is gated and secure. Elevators and Dolly's are available. Clean and well lighted. Very satisfied with my storage unit.

Excellent customer service. Walk us through the facility to familiarize with the loading dock and area. Access hours and what loading bay you are able to access with your unit. Very convenient location just near ninth Street bridge in South Vancouver.

The storage manager was very helpful the first time I went at the storage a week ago. She explained all the details and showed me the choices that I wanted to see. The facility is clean and accessible and just got a decent price for the unit that I selected.
