After being a customer for two years, My unit was riddled in moths And the contents of my unit were completely destroyed.

The compensation they continued to give me was half off units for the next three months while putting me in something smaller with things that obstructed the size I could only choose from the first floor or the fourth floor after constant robberies on the first floor I wasn’t interested

I have officially moved out and will be complaining to all aspects of higher management as it was so poorly taken care of. I do not recommend this place to anybody. It is disgusting. It smells and your items will be damaged.

Very well-run facility. Mabel was great and efficient.

What they didn't tell me was that they apparently only accept two kinds of locks [cylinder and disc locks], despite me seeing all kinds of padlocks on other units. As a result, they tried to get me to buy it there for $30 but I declined and got a disc lock at Uhaul for $13. Not cute.

I had an excellent experience with Access Storage. The facility is very clean, well organized, and incredibly spacious. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the place safe and well maintained.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable. They really know their stuff and make the whole process simple. A special shoutout to Mabel, the manager — she was amazing to deal with. She knew exactly what storage unit size I needed and made everything smooth and stress-free.

She even helped connect me with the right movers to safely move my belongings in and out, which was very important to me. That extra level of care really made a difference.

Highly recommend Access Storage if you're looking for a clean facility and a team that truly knows how to take care of their customers.

Clean, professional, easy to use. Just a little expensive for me in this economy so I had to leave. Staff were competent and kind. If it was for a business rather than for personal effects I would have absorbed the expense. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them highly.

Horrible Horrible Horrible customer experience ZERO. first they locked my unit which is paid for until the end of the week. And they locked out my access code. Prabdeep is the worst one and mahbel. Both cant even do theyre job right. Not to mention the unit they gave us is not actually 5' x 10' which we paid for. Dont get me wrong the facility is really good but the people who runs it ruins this location.

service was good, has gone down. I had initially left them a 5-star rating. lazy staff. don't want to help customers. some of the reps are good. others very lazy. watching tv series on the computer loud enough for customers to hear. Poor email communication, lack of courtesy and do not read emails properly. Considering reporting them to the regional manager... Unfortunate how a simple employee can ruin a company's reputation.

Sketchy business practices. I declined the insurance coverage when I signed up and signed documents that I indicated I declined it. I received an invoice after my first month with insurance charges on it . When I inquired was told that I needed to provide documents showing existing insurance coverage . This was not clearly communicated when I signed up. This is entrapment. My things are in storage and now they know it’s a hassle for me to move it. They’ll make sure you pay their overpriced insurance premiums.

The staff here are horrible. I’ve had a malfunctioning light right in front of my unit that was supposed to be fixed months ago but they haven’t fixed it since February. Every issue I have, they use ChatGPT to reply to me instead of actually addressing the issues. Here’s additional issues:

1. Garage Door Malfunction – Frequently, the garage door stays open and does not close, even when I try to force it shut. This has made the entire area extremely cold, especially with temperatures as low as -15°c, making lots of “heated units” not actually heated because the cold seeps in. Additionally, this poses a serious security risk as anyone can access the facility. I have attached a video of this. As a result of this, the carts are so cold I cannot touch them to move them because my hands freeze.
2. Lack of After-Hours Support – There is no way to reach staff outside of business hours, making it impossible to report urgent issues like the garage door malfunction.
3. Non-Functional Lighting – The light directly in front of my unit does not work. It appears to be the only one not functioning, creating a dark and inconvenient space. I have attached a picture of this
4. Loud Carts – The carts, except for the blue one, are extremely loud, making them disruptive to use. Their wheels could be changed probably to make them quieter.
5. Access hours – Please find attached the access hours that were given to me upon sign up. This was the information I was given, and the agreement that I signed, that the facility would be accessible 24 hours a day. But when I was moving stuff near 11pm, I was not able to access it. Then later I found on google that your facility access hours are different than what I was given. This is a breach of our agreement.
6. Safety Orientation Not Provided – Staff were supposed to give me a safety orientation about the garage, but they didn’t even show me where it was until I insisted. This is unacceptable, as proper orientation should be standard practice.
7. Elevator Inefficiency – At times, both elevators open when going up, which seems like an unnecessary waste of resources and increases wait times.
8. Cleanliness – I understand this is not your fault but I have attached a picture of garbage laying around one time. The space has been clean at other times, so this might just be an irresponsible tenant who should get a warning.

Very accommodating, there was an issue with the locker that I had booked on line (not really their fault) but the Assistant Manager and Manager did rectify the situation as fast as possible. Very polite and explained everything thoroughly. Prices are definitely reasonable. Would recommend them for anyone needing storage.

Very fast and friendly. They had same-day availability and accepted my non-Canadian documents as proof of ownership.

The facility itself is large, in a mixed use area that looks safe. Access is gated and there are cameras everywhere, so I'm not worried about break-ins.

Shout out to Mohammad and Jasmine for being super helpful and friendly.

Amazing Staff and Sevice! I have found their prices extremely competitive. I came to Access after a truly horrible experience at XYZ storage at their Laird location.

In the short time I was at XYZ they had nearly doubled my rent on a 10 x 12 unit within a 2.5 year period. With Access I got a larger 10 x 13 space for less than half the price I initially paid at XYZ. Besides that the staff actually really listens and does something if you have any problems. No more automated emails and interacting with a faceless person. This space is right near my home and so convenient.

The staff is so accommodating, and I would have no problem referring anyone to them. There's lots of storage space options out there but please do you do diligence before you commit to a space. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did. Moving is a hassle to begin with so your storage provider should not take advantage of you by jacking up the rental rates every 2 to 3 months.

My storage needs have increased this year and I now have 3 units at Access that cost me slightly more what I was paying for 1 unit at XYZ. And right now they have a special promotion on so you save even more money.

I've never been to any other Access locations other than the Access location at 55 Bridgeland but this one I can highly recommend. Speak to Mabel or any of her team there and they will help you out for sure!

Quick note: I've noticed some reviews says the place isn't clean. Everytime I have been there which is frequently the space is spotless.

One star as place is convenient for storage, but for someone who currently pays over $800+ for two units and has been a client since the location opened, customer service is notoriously bad. Service and value has gradually declined, cleaning, maintenance have gone down and price increases are frequent and without justification. Staff is very polite upon signing up but customer service is at an unacceptable level once issues are brought up. Look for better service elsewhere. They only care about collecting your money and won’t spend a cent even on cleaning. One of the elevators smells like a homeless person for months and upon bringing it to management the manager cleaned it personally. Hire a cleaning company, you can afford it, your business is booming, don’t be so greedy.

False claims on square footage of locker spaces, they claim 5x5 x8 and they are not. Much smaller , limited insurance coverage for what you store, doors in bays left open affecting climate control and expensive for storage space, shoukd not be over $40-50 a month for 25 square feet .

Terrible customer service. If I could, I'd give the location at 55 Bridgeland Ave, North York, ON, "0.5 stars," and that's only because they at least listened to my issue—though they did absolutely nothing to resolve it.

After losing my keys, I was threatened with a hefty fee if I cut the lock or hired a locksmith, being told only the district manager could cut it. They had me sign paperwork to authorize the service, but when I returned four weeks later with my rental truck, the lock was still untouched. Instead of a quick move, I ended up paying $248.60 for a locksmith.

Beware: do not buy a lock from them. These locks can’t be cut; they must be drilled out.

They offered no solutions for my inconvenience, never answered their phones, and provided zero compensation for their staff's mistakes. Avoid them at all costs.

We put our things in a storage unit at Access Storage (55 Bridgeland Ave, Toronto, ON M6A 1Y7). We left our things one afternoon, and we returned 2 weeks and 3 days later only to find that our unit had been broken into. The lock was not damaged, but our things were not as we left them. We had damaged and stolen items. Some things, we immediately noticed they were missing. The rest of the missing things, we discovered them when we got home with our stuff and opened our boxes. As soon as we got to the unit and realized it had been ransacked, we called the emergency line of Access Storage and spoke to someone who said we had to wait until 9:00 am for the employee. We believe the unit was accessed from above, as there is no roof/ceiling protecting each unit, and rather, they are all connected. That means, once someone has access to a unit, they can climb and access other units without opening the rollup door. We also noticed metal sawdust on the floor right below a lock that only the manager can open according to the employee. We are heartbroken to have this happen in Canada. Not even in our home countries would we have expected something like this. The employee said he was going to look at the cameras, but we just don't understand the type of security Access Storage has in that place. It is not acceptable that someone took the time to runsack a unit and select what they wanted to steal and no one noticed. We still cannot believe somebody got into our unit and stole our things.
