Took my daughter to STL pediatric dentistry this morning and the dental assistant chipped my daughters front tooth filling while cleaning it. Dr Reed came in and told me it wasn’t chipped when I brought it up to him. He had zero concerns about the chip the dental assistant had just caused to her front tooth. I go to check out and then the receptionist said the dentist had set up a treatment plan for the tooth that “wasn’t chipped”. Then they called me and told me the dentist was not going to fix it for free and that I could pay out of pocket or wait 3 more months for my insurance to cover the filling. My daughter left the office saying “I guess I just won’t smile anymore”. So disheartening. We went in for a cleaning and left with a chipped tooth that I have to pay for.
