My mom and I went to open an account for her at Wintrust Community Bank of Downers Grove, but they refused to help us because she doesn’t speak English well. She is an elderly lady and was very upset, especially since she has been making great progress in studying English. I assured the banker that I would accompany her every time, but he still refused in a very unprofessional and discriminatory manner.
