I had a mortgage with Wintust Bank for 20 years. I never had an escrow account and always paid my Property Taxes and Insurance on time. My mortgage was sold to Wintrust Mortgage and it not only has applied an Escrow Account to me but has notified me that this new account is in arrears. If this is the kind of service and communication I can expect, I will be giving them monthly 1 Star Reviews until mortgage rates dropped sufficiently so that I can drop them
