This is the worst tropical cafe in Rochester NY. The workers constantly work high or under the influence, which hey I don’t care as long as your job is done.
But they will entirely charge you for items that they DONT PUT IN THE BAG.
I went at 8:43pm on Monday 08/17/2026 to get a jerk chicken wrap, a smoothie and a side of sweet potato’s.
The server Giselle, reeked of marijuana, while also getting my order completely wrong. After checking the bag at home she sent out a Bahama Mama Bowl, and a Bahama Mama Smoothie.
However when I check the receipt she still charged me the LARGER and more EXPENSIVE wrap and sweet potato side while, giving me the bare minimum of what I asked for.
Don’t come here unless you want some high teenager getting your order wrong and playing with your card

So I usually get this exact order from Greece with no issue, I got my smoothie today from east ridge and it was horrible. Smoothie wasn’t fully blended, and I mean I’m getting chunks of banana stuck in my straw, the smoothie also doesn’t taste how it normally would either. I’m not sure if the person was new but it was like they didn’t know what they were doing. The other times I’ve went my smoothies been perfectly fine, but today was BAD.

What the heck is this crap? Was there a shortage of peanut butter? Shortage of bananas? Shortage of granola? This is horrible looking and tasting. TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK.

First time trying tropical smoothie and I am very disappointed. It looks like the smoothie bowls are pre frozen and then have the toppings added to them to order. When I got my bowl I couldn’t even eat it immediately because of how frozen it was. Also the pineapple look and taste like it came out of a can. I expect fresh product for a $12 smoothie bowl. Refresh is a much better place if you are looking for fresh and not frozen !
