Extremely disappointed! On September 2, 2025 I was informed that my Red Seal Exam Prep – Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) course was cancelled due to low enrollment and that a refund would be processed within 30 days.
It’s now been months, and I still haven’t received my refund. All my emails are ignored, and there’s zero follow-up. Very unprofessional. I just want my money back.

I completed my Immigration Consultant diploma at Ashton, and I can confidently say that the experience was excellent. All the teachers were truly dedicated and supportive throughout the program. I want to especially mention a few instructors who went above and beyond to help us succeed and prepare for the licensing exam.
Ali Yamini was exceptional—truly one of the best. His teaching style, commitment, and depth of knowledge made a huge difference in helping us pass on our first attempt. I Would also mentioned that, during these years we have handed more than 100 application. So good knowledge and practice together. Larry also very good, always supportive and clear in his explanations.

On October 4th, I registered (and paid) for Ashton College's Carpenter Red Seal preparation course. 10 days later, the day the course was scheduled to start, I recieved an email informing me that the course was cancelled due to low enrollment. I have been trying to get my money back ever since, to absolutely no avail. They don't return my phone calls, and they don't answer my emails. It's like I don't exist. I am not a wealthy person who can just throw that kind of money away. This "college" is a scam, and people need to be aware of that! Don't throw your hard earned money away!

Avoid this program—complete waste of time and money.
I took the IRB Specialization course at Ashton College and deeply regret it. The instructors added zero value—they simply read off the IRB website, which we all had access to anyway. There was no meaningful instruction, no real guidance, and certainly no specialized insight. We lost $700 and six months of our time for something that felt more like a scam than a course. Save yourself the frustration—do your own research or find a real, qualified program elsewhere.
answer to their terrible answer:
Dear Student Services,
Thank you for your reply, but your response does not address the fundamental shortcomings I have outlined from the very start of this course.
The reality is simple: the first three sessions made it clear that this program did not provide the promised value or professional-level preparation. The sessions consisted largely of instructors reading aloud from slides—material I could review on my own—without adding meaningful insight, explanation, or structured notes. The repeated lateness and lack of preparation only underscored the lack of professionalism.
I chose not to attend further sessions because they were unproductive and a poor use of my time—not because I was unwilling to participate. To suggest that my absence is the cause of my dissatisfaction is misleading. My absence was a result of the course’s failure to deliver value, not the cause of it.
The fact remains: I have paid for a service that was marketed as a professional preparatory course, yet what was delivered fell far short of that standard. I have been left without study materials, without structured guidance, and without the benefit I was promised at enrollment.
This is my final request: please process a full refund immediately. If I do not receive confirmation of this within seven (7) business days, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter through all available channels, including formal complaints to consumer protection authorities and public reviews outlining my experience.
I trust Ashton College will act professionally and resolve this matter without the need for further escalation.
Sincerely,
Luis Palmero

Ashton is really organized and a school with good quality. I took immigration consultant diploma at Ashton College last August and graduated in March. They had the best instructor lineups and all the instructors I had have a fruitful knowledge in the field as well as equipped with professional knowledge. Ron, the director always made sure the class is on the track and didn't mind to stop by our classes for a discussion on certain immigration topics and we appreciated the interaction he tried to make. Ashton prepared me properly for my Entry to Practice Exam and I passed it at one go and currently waiting for my license to come. I also could luckily find a job in an immigration firm right away as soon as I graduated and now I can say I successfully got my career changed! Thanks Ashton!:)
