I tried this place for the first time about a decade ago. It was introduced by friends who used to live in Montreal. It is great to see they have since won the Michelin star for their well deserved hard work. I beat the rush and came for lunch this time right at opening at 11:30. The ramen is still as what I remembered. The space kept its original vibe. While some of the toppings are now required extra charge with food inflation, the quality stayed. I emptied the bowl of ramen each time and will come back again when I visit the city.

One of my top 3 Ramens in the world and I had many in Japan too. Really well executed. Great taste and rich. Love the option for lower salt.
Prices are very high but I think worth it for this level. It is the same place exactly as the Izekaya just serves Ramen for lunch. Gets crazy busy.

Had this ramen a few years ago and finally brought the kids tonight. Waited an hour!!! But it was so worth it. The tonkotsu broth is pure umami. It was creamy, fragrant, not heavy at all. The karaage was crispylicious. Friendly service with constant water refills. Great vibe. No complaints.

it was probably the most thic ramen I had ever had, felt kind of weird but it was really tasty. Salad was also fresh 4f and the yuzu lemonade so refreshing. Great service too, and bathroom is in great conditions.

You can walk in and get ramen, but you might have to queue and wait for about an hour. Alternatively, you can pre-book a time slot for the Izakaya menu (Japanese tapas. KEEP IN MIND: no ramen option!). We didn’t want to wait, so we went with the tapas option, and we definitely didn’t regret it! We ordered seven dishes (you can see them in the attached photos) and one pint of Asahi beer. It came to around $150, which we thought was quite reasonable. The tapas were amazing, full of real umami flavor! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think we were served by Zakary, thank you so much!
