I went in for a simple quote to replace a damaged passenger-side outer tail light assembly. The front desk was nice and able to offer me advice, took pictures, and sent me a quote all in the same day, so that was appreciated. However, the quote they gave me was absurd - over $400 that included 2.6 hours of labor and charges for redundancy and extensive removal process. It was clear to me that they barely have any actual knowledge on cars and instead just relying on an insurance estimation software and corporate quota to fill their profit target. I took the car to a reputable local shop instead, and they completed the exact same job in 15 mins for a fraction of the cost!!! If you are paying out-of-pocket, be prepared for over-engineered, inflated corporate estimates that only care about the profit and not you as a customer.

I got in an accident early February and was sent here for repairs by my insurance company. I will start out by saying that the body work turned out fantastic, but the two months it took to get my car back was a headache. The communication (or lack there of) was my biggest issue here. You only have so long covered by insurance for a rental and it was like pulling teeth to get an answer on where they were with repairs and how much longer we were looking at. This is vital information due to needing to plan for rentals to get myself to work and my kids to school. Apparently my insurance wouldn’t approve new from dealer parts, so these used parts were constantly coming in damaged or “rotted” from their vendors, and those parts were needing to be sent back and re ordered pushing my pick up time out weeks. This collision shop didn’t even have the means to do an alignment and had to be sent out to Firestone to do the alignment. They use car wise a repair tracking site to show the price of repairs and your “estimated pick up date.” My pick up date came and went and wasn’t updated until the actual pick up date almost 3 weeks later. During those three weeks it was a nightmare checking in on it. The girl at the front desk (Anita) never answered the phone or returned messages you leave. I only ever heard from her after I called my insurance and made them contact the shop. Anita is also incredibly rude with no people skills at all, but that’s not my issue I guess. Anyways, I finally got a call that my car was ready and almost three weeks later car wise alerted me my car was finished. I went to pick up my car and a light was lit up on the dash saying that there was a light failure somewhere and it sure as hell wasn’t on when I dropped it off because she pulled the photo of the dash up from the first initial drop off. She claimed “it’s not on them” - I’m sorry, who is it on? It’s not on me because I hadn’t had my car in two months. She went out to check and realized my info screen on my dash said it was a rear brake light and I told her I wasn’t paying or taking the car until it was fixed. It was “fixed” and ready to be picked up later that same day. Of course as soon as I pulled in the drive way the same light is back on, and the same message is displayed on my dash. I called Thursday night to tell them it’s back on and I want it fixed since I already paid for it and what do you know, I haven’t heard from them! So my car is still not repaired! I will absolutely never do business here again and have advised my insurance company to stop sending people here.

I took my car to be repaired and when I picked it up they had not fixed everything. They have what looks like a used tire after paying $98 for a new tire. It’s screws missing from when they replaced the grill. I have scratches on my side view mirror that weren’t there. I have scratches that weren’t fixed

This was a very difficult situation, knowing that COVID caused much delays in every supply chain doesn’t excuse certain situations: unfortunately a USPS van rear ended my month old Outback. GEICO instructed me to bring the vehicle to this location for repair. The facility had the vehicle for seven days to repair. Was then released to me with the knowledge that my rear cross traffic sensor was on back order and that system would be disabled. That sensor was also a component for the blind spot assist, lane departure systems, cruise control, and any self-parking capabilities it had. After five months and fourteen days, they were ready to install the sensor claiming it just was delivered (the same sensor had been available from NAPA for two months prior to this). After waiting for the entire day to get word of my vehicle being ready, I did not receive a call back until the next morning to let me know that the sensor was not installed. There was no reason they gave that was plausible. I was then informed that the following eeek they could fit my vehicle in as this sensor could only be installed and calibrated by a trained person. Three day’s later l am called to be asked if I can bring my vehicle in due to this trained person going on vacation and wouldn’t be able to install it for weeks. I drop off my vehicle that morning and waited until the following morning to be told that my vehicle was still not fixed and that they had driven the vehicle to another service business, without my knowledge or permission. The skilled person now was gone for a month so another appointment to fix my vehicle was made. There were three more incidents of me dropping my vehicle off at this service shop only to have to pick it up unfixed. I lost work each of the five days. I was never given a rental or a loaner nor ever a ride back to my home. I had rearranged my schedule five times to accommodate this place. After the fifth failure I then took the vehicle to an actual Subaru dealership and they took care of the sensor in less then 24hrs. I had that bill forwarded to service king. Logically, one is to assume this business had claimed with GEICO that they had the ability to service the new reedesigned 2023 outback models, which would why the continuous failures and traveling to another garage happened. They were, at the time, not qualified to repair my vehicle and I have lost faith in the operations of the vehicle for two reasons: they failed to provide assurance with continuously wasted trips AND my all time best (see video with this review) is their cover paint job they did over what appears to be handwriting or handmade scribbles in the upper panel above the drivers passenger window. This was not present on my vehicle prior to the first drop off as the vehicle was two weeks old and had not sat at any shop prior. Unless someone did it in a parking lot of a store and carried out a paint job repair from a paint set up shop in the parking lot, this was done unprofessionally and just plain greasy. Remember, you are allowed to take your vehicle anywhere you wish to have it repaired.
