Avoid This Company at All Costs – Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Potentially Dangerous

I had an absolutely appalling experience with this company, and I strongly urge anyone reading this to stay far away.

Here’s what happened:
A technician came to diagnose an issue with my fridge and told me the control panel needed to be replaced. The fridge was in a tight spot, so they explicitly agreed to include the labour to move it and charged me $100 for that service. I have a written receipt clearly stating this charge. I then paid a deposit toward the total bill for parts, installation, and the moving labour.

Shortly after, I discovered a coolant leak — one that could potentially be flammable. Despite the seriousness of the situation, the technician completely failed to respond with any sense of urgency or concern. I tried to get answers over the weekend and was met with complete silence. No replies, no follow-up, nothing.

We had agreed that the new issue with the leak would be diagnosed before ordering any parts, since the costs could easily exceed the value of the fridge itself. Instead of addressing the issue, the technician continuously skirted around it and simply could not communicate like a professional.

On Monday, I finally got hold of him, and he flat-out lied, saying “we’re not a moving company,” completely ignoring the leak and denying the moving labour commitment entirely. When I pointed out the $100 charge for that exact labour — which is listed clearly on the receipt he gave me — he denied it anyway and became aggressive. He started shouting at me and doubled down on the lie, refusing to take any accountability.

I then called the manager, hoping for a reasonable conversation. Instead, I got more of the same. She also started shouting at me, completely unprofessional and utterly incapable of handling a customer concern with even a shred of decency.

This company took my money, lied about the services they committed to, ignored a potentially dangerous leak, and then responded with hostility when I asked for basic accountability. I’ve never experienced such blatant dishonesty and appalling customer treatment. Do yourself a favour and choose literally anyone else.

UPDATE after owner’s response:
The owner’s reply perfectly proves my original point about their dishonesty and lack of integrity. Instead of addressing a single factual issue I raised—the written receipt for the moving labour they later denied, the ignored potentially flammable leak, or the shouting—they have fabricated a story about me disrespecting a female staff member. That is completely false. What actually angered me was being lied to, shouted at by two different people, having a safety concern dismissed, and their complete lack of integrity, refusal to address the main issues, and total failure to take any accountability.

For the record: Since my review, I submitted my receipts and evidence to my bank and have already received a full refund via a transaction dispute. A legitimate company doesn't need to invent smears against customers when the facts aren't on their side. Readers can decide for themselves what to believe—my written proof, or their misdirecting fairytale.

Our freezer went out and Nick came out the same day to diagnose the issue. He found the issue fast and was up front about the cost to repair vs replace. While he was here he also helped us fix a small issue with our dishwasher, which was great!

Ray was very helpful he had very great communication skills and found out what was wrong with my dryer instantly and even fixed it in less than 10 minutes !!
