I think the service here is good. The employees can be very helpful if asked. The animals to my furthest knowledge look like they are treated nicely and someone said that fish are swimming in their feces which is not really true. The fish tanks are very clean whenever i go in there. Some items are good priced and some a bit high but this isnt a discount store or wholesaler so thats a given

The bond between the mother and kittens is a strong one, not to mention the deep connection between litter mates. In general, kittens should remain with comforting, sweet mommy until at least weaning age.
This store just accepted 4 kittens (August 27,2015) that are only 6 weeks old at most. Shame on PJ's ethics!
One kitten all dark brownish, color with one white spot near genital area.
Other black one with white stripe down nose. Other two look alike grayish white, tiny spots on nose, one is female. The owner takes them away from the mother early and uses the mother to sell the liters to this pet shop. Now the mother is running around looking for her kittens and the kittens are so frightened to be suddenly removed from their mother. Now these little kittens are not socialized and in an emotional panic.
Do not buy kittens from these pet shops, this is cruelty to animals. Write to head office and tell them to stop accepting kittens under 8 weeks old. If you buy a kitten you want that kitten to be socialized & that cannot happen under 8 weeks.

Do not get your dog's nails trimmed at pj pets at brampton city center
The girl cutting my dogs nails was obviously cutting my dogs nails to short as you could tell by my dog crying ! I told her to stop she had the nerve to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about and to get out . So I leave as I'm leaving I inform her staff members that are all standing at cash gabBing away mean while I'm sure theres enough customers around they could be helping but non the less that then should train their staff .
So I leave to notice seconds later that my dogs limping. Shocker a girl telling me I don't know what I'm talking about cut my dogs nails to short and my dogs foot is now bleeding !!!!

Don't worry as your untrained, unprofessional groomer has stated don't come back lol don't worry I wonot be neither the rest of my friends. To bad I used to buy new things for my dog and cat every week .

Thank goodness they're no longer selling dogs. My mother was uneducated in her decision to purchase a kitten for my nieces there. Poor thing is very sick. We got him on 24/09/2014. The following day we took Pumpkin for his first vet appointment. He wasn't drinking nor eating and had diarrhea. We bought the Royal Canin dry food PJ's Pet stated we had to as it was what he was eating. Well, he refused to eat it. The vet suggested switching to wet food and that he started eating. Since day one he was very lethargic. Today (30/09/2014) I took him back to the vet as we were very concerned. The vet stated he has lost one tenth of his weight and is very dehydrated. Suggested returning him to PJ's Pets before we begin to spend a fortune but we're already attached to the kitten, so another $508 later we decided to leave him overnight with the vet for a UV, spool sample and blood work. Hopefully we get some good news. Regardless, it is clear PJ's Pets sold us a very sick, mistreated animal.
