I recently moved out of The Northern in RiNo after living there for 15 months, from May 2025 through August 2026. As my first home in Denver, I can genuinely say I had a great experience and was sad to leave.

LOCATION:
If you want to be close to Downtown Denver, Coors Field, RiNo, and so many other great areas, the location is hard to beat. There’s always something nearby to do, eat, or explore.

THE BUILDING & AMENITIES:
For a 16-story building, the amenities are excellent. The gym is honestly one of the best I’ve seen in an apartment complex. The pool and hot tub are great, there are multiple BBQ grills, and I loved having the coffee station in the lobby and vending machine in the common area.

Parking was another huge plus. Having your own reserved parking spot with a hangtag made things incredibly convenient.

THE APARTMENTS:
I had one of the units with the lighter finishes, and it made the apartment feel bright, open, and larger than it actually was. The unit itself was great and I had no complaints. Just something to be aware of, the bedrooms are carpeted and walls can be thin but again you're living in an apartment complex.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:
With 16 floors and 300+ residents, the elevators can get busy, especially during peak times. Occasionally an elevator may be down, which can be inconvenient, but realistically, that comes with choosing to live in a large high-rise building.

If you have dogs, there isn’t really a grassy area directly at the building. There is a dog park about a 3–5 minute walk away, so definitely something to consider if having immediate outdoor space for your dog is important to you.

My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the traffic directly in front of the building. Delivery drivers frequently stop out front, which can create congestion and potentially become a hazard for pedestrians. I think requiring deliveries to use the alley whenever possible would make a big difference.

MANAGEMENT — 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Management was great throughout my entire time here. There were management changes during my 15 months, but the transitions felt seamless. Everyone I dealt with was accommodating, responsive, and professional. I personally had no issues with management and would absolutely give the team five stars.

ONE THING I THINK FUTURE RESIDENTS SHOULD KEEP IN PERSPECTIVE:
Like any large apartment community, you’re going to have hundreds of different personalities living together. Most of the residents I encountered were great. That said, the resident app could sometimes feel like a complaint board. There seemed to be a lot of frustration posted over relatively minor inconveniences rather than people simply speaking with management and giving them an opportunity to address the issue.

Things happen. Elevators occasionally have mechanical problems. Maintenance issues come up. You’re choosing to live in a 16-story building with 300+ residents, so expecting everything to operate perfectly 100% of the time just isn’t realistic. I think anyone considering The Northern or any large apartment community, should really think about whether that type of living environment fits their lifestyle and expectations.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Move into The Northern! I would absolutely recommend it.

I only left because I needed to downsize, and unfortunately there wasn’t a smaller layout available that worked for what I needed. Otherwise, I would have been happy to stay.

The Northern was my first home in Denver, so leaving was definitely bittersweet. If I ever find myself needing a larger apartment again, The Northern would absolutely be on my list of places to return to.

Great location, great amenities, great management, and overall a great place to call home.

Just understand what you’re moving into, a large, active high-rise in the middle of RiNo, and if that’s the lifestyle you’re looking for, The Northern is a great choice.

I loved living here, the leasing agents are amazing and so helpful! Dani, Kennedy, Mati, and Patrick are the best! The common spaces, elevators, and the gym were always kept incredibly clean. Fun and relaxing events held all the time for residents, I especially enjoyed the candle making class and all of the bouquet making experiences!

The entire office staff is absolutely amazing. Everybody is so friendly and so helpful from the moment I stepped foot on this property to tour. Kennedy welcomed me and provided me with such an amazing experience countless times I called with many questions and anyone who answered the phone was more than eager and urgent to help satisfy my needs. Today was my move-in day and Patrick was so attentive to the entire move. I really am so happy that I live here. Everything is so beautiful. The aesthetic is extremely pleasing to the eye and every person so far that I’ve met in the hallway is extremely friendly. The amenities are outstanding so happy to call this place Home!!!

Choosing The Northern as my home has been the best decision I've made this year. Mati the Assistant Community Manger has been such an amazing resource and my go to person! From my tour to my move in she exceeded my expectations and made me feel comfortable. The location being in RiNo (Denargo Market) is top tier since they have so many great restaurants, fitness centers and coffee shops! I also love how close Union Station is since I often travel to DIA. I love the Sky Deck because the views are amazing and it has a bbq grill so I've hosted my own happy hours up there with my family and friends. You have to tour here if you are looking to live in the city, you will not regret it!

I am a bit overdue for this review, but am happy to write it! I moved here from the Tampa Bay area in Feb. To start, Jordan is the one that absolutely won my business and sold me on the property. Extremely professional, responsive, helpful and knows everything about this complex! Tone is awesome too and is always there to greet me or help me with anything I need. I initially went with a 1br/1ba, but with my family moving to the area I switched to a 2br on an upper floor and couldn't be happier. Great location, great views, excellent amenities (including a nice gym/HIT training area, pool, etc). The walls appear to be pretty good for sound "proofing." I have a corner unit and never hear anyone next to me. They also do a great job with community events as well (opening day party was pretty dope!). (Don't judge my living room - waiting for my wife to change it from a "mans pad"" to a real home when she comes...LOL). Shoutout to Denver Apt Finders for locating this gem for me!
