Absolutely delicious. Very authentic Egyptian street food. The rice was exactly like the way my mama makes it. Loved playing foosball and air hockey while we waited for the food. Everything is freshly made to order and you can tell! The service was 10/10. The restaurant itself is very clean and kid friendly. We will for sure be back!!!

This is great local place to enjoy Egyptian food. It also has more classical options for children. We have visited this place in weekday during lunchtime and it was completely empty! We even were lucky to meet owner of this place with his wife and shared great discussion with them. They are absolutely amazing and place is worth to visit! Please support this place and do not ignore as you would never regret visiting it and feel like in Egypt during your meal time!

Today my husband, my little son, and I decided to have a mini retreat and enjoy lunch outside the house. It was a great idea to discover something new in our neighborhood in the middle of the workweek.

The first thing that impressed us was the atmosphere: it is a very positive and clean place with elements of Egyptian culture. It brought back wonderful memories of our family holiday in Egypt.
The food was fresh and truly Egyptian.

The special Wednesday offer was reasonably priced, and the bowl was well-balanced, warm, and delicious. The dessert was crispy, handmade, sweet, and very yummy.

The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. We didn’t spend much money, but we felt full and satisfied. The menu makes it easy to keep a balanced diet.

We will definitely come back with all our family members because it is a nice, cozy place with good prices and fresh food. Highly recommended!

Food is super tasty. Seem like all orders are a hit. Beef liver is a personal favourite. The cauliflower is very good too.

The place looks amazing inside. Free to play foosball and air hockey. TV to keep you entertained. Very clean dining room. Very friendly staff who are quick with your orders. Rewards program available. Monthly specials available.

Prices are very high for the protions. Washrooms need work. There is a bidet available. No free WiFi.

This was my first time trying TUT in Oakville, and being Egyptian puts a bit more pressure on the experience—because I’m not just tasting food, I’m judging authenticity.
I went for the Thursday koshary special, priced at $9.99. The portion size was very generous and the taste was truly authentic—exactly the kind of koshary you’d find on the streets of Egypt. The dakka with double garlic was excellent, with a great amount of fried onions. The balance between rice, lentils, pasta, and sauce was spot on. Honestly, the koshary is a big winner on their menu—please don’t change anything about it.
Next, I tried the four-sandwich combo for around $23, choosing the chicken pane, liver, and sausage.
• Liver sandwich: Very tasty and well seasoned, but the amount of liver was not enough for the size of the sandwich, and it was a bit too oily.
• Fried chicken sandwich: It was good, but nothing special. Also, it’s not really authentic Egyptian street food—acceptable, but not memorable.
• Egyptian sausage sandwich: The sausage itself tasted great, but the biggest mistake here was adding mustard. Egyptian cuisine does not use mustard—this sandwich should be made with tahina sauce instead. Switching to tahina would completely fix this.
Now for the French fries. They’re advertised as having “Egyptian dokka.” I’m glad I asked the server to put it on the side, because after tasting it, it was not authentic at all. It tasted like a mix of Indian spices, including curry. Authentic Egyptian dokka is made from sesame, cumin, and salt—nothing else. Please don’t mix fries with this spice blend and label it as Egyptian dokka.
One more important note: pickles are a staple in Egyptian street food. If you’re calling this authentic street food, pickles should be included as a complimentary side.
Overall, it was a good experience. I loved the sandwich packaging, the service was great, and although it takes some time to prepare the food, it was worth the wait. I really hope these small changes can be made so TUT can fully maintain the authenticity of our delicious Egyptian street food 🇪🇬✨

Went in for a quick sandwich, limited options. Got the crispy sandwich and kafta or sausage sandwich i don’t really remember. It was fair nothing too great and not too bad preferred the chicken over the meat one but id rate them 7/10 for both. I dont think ill be back anytime soon but it was a try

A few months ago, I discovered Tut's Oakville on Facebook. Drawn in by its Egyptian street food theme, today I organized a brunch for my eight office colleagues. I placed an order for two family meals, which proved to be more than sufficient. The selection included chicken, shrimp, shawarma, and sougok, along with vegetarian choices of falafel and koshari. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. I wish to thank the owner, who was present when I collected the order, and his entire team for providing us with such an enjoyable experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Been twice in 10 days and dined in both times :) Played and lost multiple games of foosball against my family (on purpose of course) and enjoyed a beautiful meal right after. Served with a smile and beautiful conversation every time :) Downloaded the app for some great deals and points too! #halal

Made to order, so a bit of a wait. I really liked the presentation and it was super easy to eat from the takeout box. Food was good, but a lot of what I ate was just bread/bun. Which was great in taste and texture but I was hoping they had more filling. I was pretty full after eating 3 of the 4 sandwiches in my box, but I wanted to try the 4th and powered through it. I thought the farakh paneer was the least enjoyable. I also sampled the og chicken and the shawarma along with the shrimp. Those 3 were great. Like I said, more filling would be awesome but I did fill up on what I bought and I'm a big guy so no complaints. Guy working was nice and the interior had a nice look/vibe to it.

I tried Tut’s Egyptian Street Food in Oakville and ordered the bundle of 4 handheld sandwiches (2 beef shawarma, 1 grilled chicken, 1 fried chicken) with fries and a drink for $22.99 CAD. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The sandwiches didn’t taste fresh or flavorful, and the fries were already sitting in a bowl when I arrived. While they were hot, they didn’t seem freshly made. For street food, I expected something more tasty and satisfying. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience for me, and I don’t plan to return.

TUT Egyptian Fast Food is an absolute gem! The food is truly authentic and brought back so many nostalgic memories of home. The Eskndrani liver, fried shrimp, chicken pane, oriental sausage, and beef shawarma were all delicious — the shawarma especially reminded me of Nema Restaurant back in Agouza, Egypt.

My kids couldn’t get enough of the koshari, and I loved how clean, colorful, and full of Egyptian spirit the place felt. They even have games for both kids and adults, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

Service was quick, the food was super fresh, and the whole experience satisfied my homesickness in the best way possible.
If you want real Egyptian flavors in a warm and fun setting — this is the place. 100% recommended!

What an awsome experience I had at this place. I loved the concept of those sandwiches from the usual grilled meats in a platter.

As soon as I entered the colours were so vibrant and the decor was so true to the background of this place. Felt so airy and inviting and the extra feature of the games you have provided for free for kids or adults whilst waiting or during and after your meal - a great asset to Tut’s

We tried Koshary and the assorted sandwich platter and the dessert. All were so delicious and fresh.

The guy serving us was amazing! The restaurant seemed very clean!

Lots of parking as it’s located in a strip mall in Oakville

Hi I met with Ismael, owner who was very hospitable and welcoming. He explained more on the brand and the storey behind it's growth and success. The food was hot, tasty and great choice. I got the daily special and the Tut's soguk and beda sandwiches 😋. Just maybe for my taste less pickles for next time. Great for those nostalgic for Egyptian food to go or a quick bite.

Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Ambiance - 5/5
Price - Inexpensive

Ordered a box of 4 sandwiches with fries and pop. Had their fried chicken, and grilled chicken sandwiches. The sandwiches were worth the price. The chicken was tender and tasty. The fries were crisp. Also, they have an air hockey table and a foosball table in the location, so you can spend your time while you wait for the order. It's definitely worth a visit.

Food was AMAZING!! I love the concept of this business with the way they bring cultural variety into the area as well as the foosball and air hockey tables for those who want to hang out and grab a quick and portable bite.

I ordered three sandwiches, beef sausage, liver, and shrimp. I swapped the tahini sauce for garlic sauce on the liver and spicy mayo on the shrimp. All the sandwiches were delicious, the buns it came on were super light and soft, and had the perfect amount of sauce so it wasn’t super messy to eat. My favorite between the three was surprisingly the liver, it’s SO flavorful and different from what’s available in the area. I’d suggest getting garlic sauce on it instead of tahini like I did! Surprisingly the green chili wasn’t super spicy (coming from someone with a low spice tolerance), it added a nice kick. Shrimp sandwich came with 6 pieces of breaded and fried shrimp and was also really good. I would ask for extra cilantro next time for a boost of flavor. Beef sausage I found to be the most packed out of the three, the special mustard they use complimented it really well but I probably wouldn’t order again because it’s not the type of filling for a sandwich I’m crazy about (it was still really good though).

Atmosphere is so colorful and inviting, perfect for a casual date or hangout spot and is also super clean. Service was also really sweet the guy working the register was so patient with all my questions and modification requests and made sure I liked my food. :)

Pricing in my opinion I do think is a little steep for what you get although it was still a great experience. I got 3 sandwiches no side no drink for $16.92, and they are small (slightly bigger than a king’s hawaiian roll). My favorite thing about this place is how you can mix and match sandwiches without any upcharge for “premium” proteins like how some other places are. However I would definitely be back to try a liver and rice bowl!
