Went to Ferguson on July 7th purchase a condenser fan motor they lied and told me that it was a year warranty came in today would not replace the motor he tried to upsell me when I purchased the motor want me to buy some lubrication to get the fan blades off told me my old motor was bad if you guys want to go somewhere to give you great information and trying to save a book of doing a DIY go to United refrigeration wholesale distribution off of Ozark been there three times only purchase something there one time but all three times o g a c people gave me good information

I'm not sure what level of customer service or helpfulness is realistic to find from a place like this, but I didn't feel welcome. Family is using the gym membership shower to stay clean, we are at our wits end trying to find this part and I just wanted a helpful voice to help me with some options. I was told to check Piedmont plumbing in Charlotte and although it was difficult to find, what a treat! Piedmont plumbing was friendly and found my part within seconds, even gave me tips when installing it. At Ferguson, I'm certain that a regular Joe like me isn't the main market for a company that supplies licensed plumbers , but the store was empty with 3+ employees and sometimes it doesn't hurt to give the guest some extra TLC. "I don't carry that part...silence...stare...." could better be said as "let me look here for you, that looks like a Sterling...ok yeah we don't have it here...I'm sorry, maybe I can look it up to give you a part number or see if our supplier carries it, if you can't wait for it to be shipped I understand, I've had a lot of people have luck over at Piedmont in Charlotte, it's about a 25 minute drive but if you text them a picture they can tell you if they have it, is there anything else I can help you with?". My 2 cents.

2025 update: it's the middle of winter and the flame ignitor broke on our furnace. I came in 15 minutes before they closed, worried about a repeat of my last experience. Someone helped me right away and took me right to the part. He was friendly. Adding 2 stars. Thanks!

Really don’t want to write a review but this is frustrating. My installer called and told me to go pick up a furnace motherboard available at this location. I left work on other side of Charlotte to go get it, they couldn’t find the part. Was told it was ordered for another customer. Ordered another motherboard on Tuesday(I was the only customer), was told it should arrived Thursday or Friday and will call me. Got name and phone down. It’s now Friday, Didn’t hear anything and found out it hasn’t been ordered. What kind of business is this? Either sloppy or lack of care. In the meantime, it is freaking cold so no heat for another week.
