SAT JUN 27, 2026 BUFFALO NY Wonderful time in the city made possible with the bike tour with Buffalo Bike Tours. I highly recommend them!!! Bike tours are such a fun way to see a city And "Tour Guide Mark" did not disappoint! Interesting buildings, both new and old and preservation that has been happening. Historic jazz culture and black neighborhoods that the city & preservation orgs are working on revitalization & telling the stories. Learned about first female architect, Louise Blanchard Bethune, (designed Hotel Lafayette history) and the feminist that she was related to suffrage and (daring to ride bicycles & even created a women's bike club) among other things. Some lovely curated murals & urban graffiti.
There is much history to be had! AND Even an original song by our "Tour Guide Mark"!
- Side note about wanderlust, travel, flexibility, adjusting. I was supposed to have done this bike tour on Friday in Niagara. But I was the only person that had signed up as of Wed, so when the owner contacted me and made the offer for Buffalo tour on Saturday I flexed my schedule and made Buffalo 10:00 a.m. work out. I am so happy that things worked out that way. What a great experience in Buffalo New York that I had never planned to add in.

This tour operator was very accommodating as our reservation went through some changes. Marc was quick to respond to all inquires. Dan was our tour leader and as a Buffalo native he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. When we travel we Always enjoy bike tours. It’s a great way to see and learn about a city.

Marc was wonderful to work with in planning our bike trip from Buffalo to Syracuse on the Eire Canal. Our bikes were in perfect condition and took a beating on the trail with no issues. I would recommend them for whatever bicycle adventure you're planning.

We had a great time riding the Erie Canal bike trail from Buffalo to Syracuse. We were surrounded by stunning scenery, and rich history. Because most of the trail is flat and level, it was an easy ride on e-bikes, even for two 77 year olds.

My friend and I rode the Erie Canal Trail from Buffalo to Syracuse. Marc and his staff were super helpful. We rented bikes, helmets, locks and saddle bags. They have tons of route info and tips. The bikes were top notch - lightweight and rugged, we experienced no mechanical issues over 5 days of riding. This is a great business, I would recommend them to anyone!

Dan was so knowledgeable and fun! The tour was an eye opening experience in the old and the new and evolving Buffalo. He ordered up the best weather possible and gave me the best day of my vacay! Thanks Dan

Was a great way to spend the afternoon and see Buffalo. We did two tours and loved them both. The waterfront history ride and the wings ride, they were both interesting and fun in-totally different ways but our guide Mark did a great job. Truly a fabulous way to get to know Buffalo

I had an amazing time on this bike tour of Buffalo, NY! The pace was just right and our guide was knowledgeable. I loved learning about the history of Buffalo, it's architecture, stories about US presidents, Mary Talbert, Booker T Washington and musicians. The scenic route was charming 🙂. Our guide gave a great recommendation for wings and dish fry. Highly recommended!

We rented a bike to cycle the entire Erie Canal path from Buffalo to Albany. Marc was very helpful in providing a great bike for this adventure with all the accessories that we would need, even though it was technically in the off-season. The location of the rental is right at the head of the bike path, which made matters much easier for us. We had a great time riding the path. We are from San Diego, so this was much easier than bringing our own bikes. I highly recommend Buffalo bike tours and rentals for your next cycling adventure !!
The hybrid style bike has 8 gears, which is enough for the infrequent small hills and sturdy tires, which are perfect for the different terrains of the path
I've included a photo of myself at the head of the official bike path . The buffalo medallion marks the start of the path

Had a wonderful experience with this small business. Marc was genuinely helpful. Was in town for the day for my sons Regatta and had extra hours to spare so rented one of their bikes. Downloaded some of their maps and used them to help me ride about 35 miles around the area. Very convenient location. Highly recommend.

We can’t say enough about Marc and Buffalo Bike Tours & Rentals. Four of us recently rented Pure Cycle Urban Commuter Bikes from Marc and rode 400 miles from Buffalo to Albany along the Erie Canal Bike Trail. We all had a BLAST!! Marc was really accommodating, had our bikes ready for us with racks for our Panniers, with extra tubes, tools, and pumps. These bikes are very adequate and saved us the hassle of boxing the bikes and sending them on the plane. When we finished our ride we took the train back from Albany to Buffalo and brought the bikes back to Marc @ Buffalo Bike Tours. Thanks Marc for making our Bike Tour so easy!

Marc was an amazing tour guide for our Buffalo bike tour, leading us on a fascinating journey through the city's history and culture, including the legendary birthplace of the chicken wing - his expertise and enthusiasm made the experience truly unforgettable! Marc's passion for Buffalo's chicken wings history and his fun, engaging personality made him an awesome guide, and we can't wait to take another tour with him!

We really enjoyed our recent E-bike tour. Mark was very entertaining and shared his knowledge of the history of Buffalo. It was also our first time on E-bikes, they are a blast! I would highly recommend Buffalo bike tours!
