Never order a gift card from the canadian website. They told me there is a processing window of 24-48hours to receive the gift card by e-mail. After that, they told me there was a problem with their system and now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks. They cannot refund me. Poor customer service.

I went this store on March 10th around 3 pm. Two female employees were on their smartphones and no greeting or nodding to me. There’s no way they didn’t notice me because I was checking winter jackets right by the cashier counter where they were. Then I went out to get my husband and daughter to ask their opinion. As soon as my hubby got near the counter, they greeted us!! That pissed me off. Why they ignored me when I went in by myself!!?? Is it because I am Asian? (my hubby is caucasian) or is it because he’s a male? Either way, they shouldn’t treat customers differently. I was looking forward to checking this store as I’m not from this area and there’s no Columbia store where I live. I told my husband that I don’t want to buy anything from them and he said you are not buying from them, you are buying from the company. I didn’t agree with him. I just left with empty hands and unsettling feeling. I hope the company address their behaviour and no one else get treated like I did.

Columbia Sportswear at Square One is a good place to shop for essential outdoor and winter apparel. I visited looking for a winter jacket but didn’t find one that suited my preference. That said, the store does carry most winter essentials, and the overall selection is solid.

They also have a nice collection of shoes. Columbia remains a reliable brand known for quality and durability, and this location is a convenient addition to SQ1 for anyone shopping for outdoor or seasonal gear.
