When I first pulled up and met Drew, he was working on a F-150. He walked over and met me, explaining the Ford needs time and in the meantime he can talk to me. I had a chip on my windshield and asked him how much it would be to repair. When the number of $75 came out of his mouth, I must have visibly cringed, because he proceeded to ask me if I had comprehensive coverage or not. He explained that my insurance (USAA) will reimburse me for this service since I have comprehensive coverage. When we ran back over to the Ford, I googled this (as I had never heard of this and, of course, he wants my business, so he'll tell me anything). But it turns out, according to multiple .org websites, that what he said was true! (For some reason I couldn't access my official policy, only a summary.🤨) As I figured this out, the Ford was done (maybe a 10 minute total wait), so I pulled up and said, "Yes, my insurance will cover it, so let's do it!"

As he began the process, he asked me my name, what I do for work (and school), how long I've had the car, etc. Even when I asked him questions about himself he didn't talk on and on which surprised me. I mean, after all, if you spend all day listening to people talk about their lives, wouldn't you want to talk to somebody about yours? But Drew never interrupted me as I talked about my Honda and how school was going. And, even though I interrupted him once 😅 he let me keep talking, remaining professional and polite even when I was not.

As for actually fixing the chip, he underestimated the size a little bit. The solution kept leaking out and he would say, "I can't get a good seal because I didn't realize you had a crater in your windshield." 😆 He changed the O-ring out and ended up having to hold it on there with his hand in addition to the suction and other forces while he cured it with the black light. After he was done, there was a tiny air bubble, and I asked him what it was (to me it looked like he just didn't fill it in all the way). He looked at it again and said, "Oh, let me fix that," and drilled out the tiny air bubble and filled it in fully. He gave me a carbon-copy receipt, explained the lifetime guarantee, and in less than 25 minutes, I was off!

9.9/10 stars, simply because I had to ask about the air bubble rather than realizing it himself.

Drew is courteous, friendly, personable and an extremely knowledgeable Automobile Windshield Rock Chip Repair Engineer/ Technician. Drew has completed four to five Colorado Roads Rock Chip Windshield repairs on my 08 Toyota RAV4...On the originally installed windshield. Drew is very thorough and his windshield chip / cracked repair capabilities are extremely impressive. The location of Drew's most recent windshield repair is barely visible once he had completed it. Depending on the size of the chip or length of the crack (or weather, as in temperature)...Drew's window Rock Chip or cracked repairs are completed in around an hour. I caught a rock to the windshield right before subzero temperatures were forecasted. The chip spidered right away and I needed it fixed quickly. I tried a different windshield repair and they weren’t open at their scheduled time nor did they answer their phone. I called Clear Quest and Drew answered right away. Drew is an absolute damn good human; genuine professional and master of his craft. I had a good dime sized chip in my windshield, 15 minutes from my first phone call I showed up and he was all over it, we spent the next twenty minutes having a great conversation that reminded me of how great people and small business can be. Such a great convenience! I’ve used this company for years. Great job and friendly service. It was a bummer that he had to move locations but it’s just across the street now (by the mattress and car wash places) so it’s still very easy to get to. Will definitely use him again.
