Had such a wonderful dining experience here tonight. Special thanks to our waiter Isaac for the amazing service!
He’s so welcoming and energetic, patiently walked us through menu recommendations, checked on our table regularly without being intrusive. His friendly attitude made our dinner way more enjoyable.
Food was tasty too, overall a fantastic visit, highly recommend this spot!

Had a great experience at Shinta AYCE! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. I especially loved the variety of meats and side dishes everything was well-seasoned and high quality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Definitely one of the best AYCE spots I’ve tried in Toronto. Will be coming back again!

Silver Menu! This is a great value IMO. $99.00pp.
This menu includes Scallops, french Lamb Rack, delicious Wagyu selections, and AYCE ITS AYCE! Ontop of regular menu.
Their sides are also delicious too!
Nothing to complain about. Had a phenomal time and ate a lot of delicious food. This is a great location, I prefer it over the original one on Hwy 7.
Must try is their foie gras roll!

The barbecue tastes absolutely amazing! The meat is tender and juicy, perfectly grilled with rich savory flavor. The side dishes are fresh and delicious too. I had a great experience at Shinta BBQ. The all-you-can-eat option was definitely worth the price. The quality of the meat was impressive — fresh, well-marinated, and very flavorful. I especially liked the beef selections, which were tender and juicy when grilled.

Celebrated my birthday here in 2024, and Shinta Japanese BBQ delivered an excellent experience. We visited Shinta Japanese BBQ on November 26 to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and the entire experience was outstanding. The restaurant has a modern, well-designed interior with efficient ventilation and a clean grilling setup. Staff were organized, attentive, and maintained great workflow even during peak hours.
The AYCE menu offers high-quality meat cuts with consistent marbling, fresh side dishes, and fast delivery of orders through their digital system. The grill temperature was stable, making the cooking experience smooth and enjoyable. Service timing, table setup, and cleanliness were all excellent.

My friends and I came here for their AYCE Dinner menu on a Sunday evening. We ordered from their Black Angus AYCE menu for $45/person (Fri-Sun). There wasn't a wait when we arrived (around 6:20pm) but it did get busier as the evening went on.
The food selection was great, and the food came fairly quickly. The only downside on this part was the size of the table and the little space that was available for all the food we ordered. It might have been nice to have the food come out at different time so that the table wasn't overwhelmed with food. The dessert options were great. We had Melona and a few pieces of their creme brulee.

This BBQ restaurant is one of the best options in the city. They have multiple locations, so be sure to make a reservation in advance or give them a call. I also recommend leaving your jackets in the car. The meat quality was excellent—definitely give them a try

We had a lovey time eating at Shinta! Our server Henry was super accommodating and helpful throughout our dinner. He made sure we were content with ordering food and how we like our food. Overall, the food was good, especially the Wagyu! Highly recommend this spot!✨

My recent visit to this buffet restaurant left me deeply dissatisfied due to multiple issues. Firstly, the staff displayed an unfriendly and indifferent attitude throughout the meal. Despite being a busy establishment, basic courtesy was lacking—they ignored my requests until I had to repeat them three times, and even then, some dishes never arrived.
The service efficiency was shockingly slow. Requesting a replacement for the grill mesh took an unreasonably long time, which significantly disrupted our dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant’s policy of confiscating my purchased bubble tea at the entrance felt unnecessarily strict and unwelcoming.
Hygiene and quality were also concerning. The soy sauce bottle on the table was sticky and unclean, while the plastic spoon provided felt flimsy and cheap, as if the restaurant was cutting corners. Such details reflect a lack of attention to customer comfort.
While I understand the challenges of managing a buffet, the combination of unprofessional service, slow response, and subpar conditions made this meal regrettable

The experience at Shinta BBQ was quite disappointing. I found a piece of plastic in my rice, which was concerning. On top of that, despite it being an AYCE restaurant, the portion sizes and service were limited too that I left without feeling full. Definitely not worth the price.

Alright experience. Went around 3-4pm, severely understaffed… our server was handling 7+ tables ? Barely had anytime to check on us, make additional orders, etc but again that’s not his fault. Got the gold Wagyu and the meat was Ok nothing crazy… not worth the price I’d stick to the lower menus. A lot of the time the food did not come when we ordered it, had to ask waiter if our meat was coming 3+ times, sometimes it just never came either. Ultimately they need more servers, and a better way to track if the food will come out!

So far this Japanese BBQ spot has been the best I’ve been to. The all-you-can-eat menu offers a variety of meats, seafood and vegetables. Service was excellent and the taste of all the food was delicious. Also convenient whether you drive or take the subway as there is parking and the subway station that both lead directly upstairs to Shinta within Empress Walk

Shinta BBQ Japanese restaurant is absolutely top-notch! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is fantastic, especially Chris—he was incredibly nice, polite, and patient in guiding us through the menu.
The food was simply perfect. If you’re a fan of meat, this is the place to be! You can enjoy an incredible variety of meats, and the best part? You can indulge as much as you want.
The restaurant’s decoration is modern and elegant, adding to the overall great experience. Considering the quality of the food and service, the price is very fair.
Highly recommend Shinta for anyone looking for a top-tier BBQ experience!

The best AYCE Japanese BBQ I've been too. The quilty was by far the best for the beef. Even if you have the Angus. Service was great! The food came fast. My only one problem is it felt like a rush to be in and out in 2 hours this time around. All and all! Highly recommended
