Went to this location earlier this week and it was insane! So delicious! We had wagyu menu and the meats were literally melting in my mouth. So flavourful and delicious. I also really loved sushi with eel and foie gras - so good! Lots of variety. Great quality. Good and fast service. Very clean!

Had a great experience at Shinta Japanese BBQ!

The quality of the meat was impressive, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit.

The Summer Promotions made it an even better value. We took advantage of the Lunch Special and loved the premium AYCE selections. It was a fun family meal with our little one, and we'll definitely be back.

Highly recommend it to all-you-can-eat lovers looking for a premium Japanese BBQ experience!

Looking to celebrate a birthday dinner, we decided on this restaurant after reading the reviews and seeing their current promotion. This place was a pleasant and satisfying surprise! A great selection of fresh, high quality meats, plus a variety of other tasty food items on their Black Angus AYCE menu. The complimentary basque cheesecake birthday cake for a 4-paying adult meal is out of this world supreme!
Our birthday boy won the A5 Wagyu from the golden egg promotion which was an added bonus for us.
Excellent food, service and friendly staff. A great spot for a memorable meal!

Shinta Japanese BBQ offers a nice Wagyu-focused BBQ experience overall, and the quality of the meat—especially the Wagyu—stands out with its rich marbling and buttery texture when grilled properly. The atmosphere feels more premium compared to typical BBQ spots, and the setup is good for a relaxed, sit-down dining experience.

That said, the service definitely needs some improvement. When ordering through the server, a few dishes were missed and didn’t come out with the rest of the order. This caused some delays and made the flow of the meal less smooth than expected, especially for a restaurant at this price point.

Overall, still a good place for Wagyu BBQ and worth trying for the food quality, but the service side needs to be more attentive to match the standard of the menu.

If you’re a scallop lover, Shinta is a must-visit right now. They’re offering unlimited scallops on their all-day menu until March 1, served in three tasty styles: deep-fried and battered, sautéed with garlic, and simmered with spicy vermicelli. Each one was flavourful and well-prepared.

Beyond the scallops, Shinta has an impressive selection of high-quality meats and other items. The marinated steak with their house special sauce was a standout for me. Bonus points for the Mississauga location also offering sushi, which added even more variety to the meal. Great value and definitely worth checking out.

We went there for the all you can eat scallops promo and it was so good. All the meats were so good and the service was great. I was bit scared about the time limit. But they gave us a 30 min heads up and then a 10 min heads up. They have great desserts as well. Everything came quickly. Peter and Bei Bei were helping us and honestly they explained everything so well.

Andy + Food + Service = Amazing experience. Our group had a big party and the team took care of us every minute. Super easy to cook the Wagyu, lots of different cuts, great marbling, and everything cooked evenly. The black menu was definitely worth it if you want the best quality options.

Atmosphere was fun, clean, and perfect for a group night out. Andy checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the best Japanese BBQ spots in Mississauga for quality and service.

I've never been to a Shinta location. While I've previously had Korean BBQ, I haven't had Japanese BBQ.

The grills are a nice size and easy to adjust the temperature.
We ordered so much, that Im pretty sure I forgot some dishes. These are what I Know we had . Plus some.

All the meats are cut perfectly. There are different marinade options as well as thin vs thick slice. The biggest thing I noticed was how thick the scallops were. They were jumbo sized. We ended up having them 3 ways. This was my first time having beef tongue. It melts in your mouth like butter.

The appetizers were all flavorful . The Yuzu shrimp were enormous. Flavor was great. My only negative was personally I didn't enjoy the Oishi Sushi's. The Maki rolls were great but these just missed the mark , for me personally. Everything else was perfection.

Definitely order some little takoyaki. I thought they were cute and delicious.

This spot is definitely worth visiting if you want delicious premium cuts of meat

It's been quite a while since I've been to a Japanese BBQ restaurant with table cooking. My friends and I recently enjoyed our evening out at Shinta in Mississauga.

Our meal included All-You-Can-Eat sushi, seafood, veggies, dessert, and much more, but the main feature for me was all the choices of meats. We indulged in all kinds of beef and they were all good - flavourfully marinated, tender, and quick cooking. Our seafood selection included fish, shrimps, scallops, and more. All good, and highly recommended!

Shinta offers so many choices, not just the BBQ meats. We tried so many different items and missed out on so many more. We were STUFFED!

They also have lots more items available, including an A5 Wagyu feature, free cake on your birthday, lamb, soups, pork, chicken, and even more - too many choices to mention. There's something for everyone.

The service was excellent, fulfilling our cravings with a smile, and checking on our progress to clear empty plates, refresh the grill, and bring additional dishes. Thank you for a great evening, Shinta!

Great Japanese BBQ place in Mississauga! If you’re not looking to go very far from the GTA, this is the spot! First time here and came for AYCE, and everything was sooo good. The bibimbap rice, was different (in a good way) to any rice that I’ve had! Everything was so good! Would definitely come back!

One of the more modern looking all you can eat Japanese BBQ. And excellent service!!

Lots of great side options, including sushi, which is my favourite. I also recommend getting the potato side.

Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the people taking reservations are being difficult for no reason. They were not even 40% full and won't confirm a seating for 5 over the phone. I got there and they are dead but they made us sat in a 4 seat booth and one person has to sit on a chair outside. Otherwise, food was great and servers are attentive

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had such a wonderful time! So, this place did not disappoint. My husband and I came here to try their silver dinner menu and boy, were we impressed! Eating wagyu was a new experience for us and we loved it! I got a little ahead of myself and started to feel a bit dizzy from eating such rich meat but it was worth it! I also enjoyed the sushi there so definitely recommend for any couple going for a lunch date.

It was our first time eating there at Shinta. Pleasant host that greeted us as soon as we got in. We were seated right away, since we had reservations. The place is spacious and clean and can seat both big and small groups. Ordering was easy, you scan a QR code for all the menu items and you order from one of their staff. The food came out quick. Staff even gave us cooking techniques how to cook the meats properly. Our grill was changed after 30 minutes of grilling without even calling anyone, which was nice. Overall excellent food, quality and great service. Definitely recommend to try.

We tried the wagyu ayce lunch on a weekend. It wasn't busy surprisngly. The place is big with lots of booth seatings. They are sharing the space with the hot pot place next door. The meats were good quality and seasoned depending on what was ordered. There is no tablet ordering. The waiter takes your order on a tablet. Sushis were good too. Dont recommend the lamb slices. Overall, good bbq place and worth the price if you can afford it! They accept cash for 5% discount too.

Amazing Japanese BBQ place! It’s very similar to Takumi so if you’re deciding between the two - it’s literally a toss up. You’ll be satisfied with both.

My favourite meats here were the Prime Kalbi Beef Rib (these are this strips of meat) and the Marinated Kalbi Beef Rib (these are thicker and chunkier meat).
The rest of the meats we tried were typical and not as good as the aforementioned ones.

I wasn’t a fan of any of the seafood except the shrimp. The salmon portions had some sweetness to them which I didn’t like at all.
Same with the cheesy sweet potato - they put way too much sugar.

For dessert it’s either soft serve ice cream or a Melona bar. I opted for the soft serve and that was really good!

One thing to note here - they are FIRM with their 2 hour seating limit. They will give you a last call with 30mins time remaining. Be sure you order everything you want then, as they won’t allow more ordering after that last call.

On the fence. It’s $100 for the silver package and I came out feeling like if I didn’t take advantage of all the special menu items it would have been a rip. Service was descent but nothing special, kind of order your food, here it’s, cook it yourself and shut up atmosphere. If the silver package was $70-80 it would feel less painful in the belly and the wallet.

My boyfriend and I are addicted to this spot and come probably like once a week or every two. Absolute 10/10, specifically Andy and (sorry I forget his name) but there’s this Caucasian I assume European waiter both of these guys are very friendly, polite, professional, and helpful with any questions or concerns we have about the menu.

If you are low on iron, a grilled meat lover, and a big back like my boyfriend and I definitely come to eat here! It’s great for groups, parties, meetings etc.

My first time trying Japanese BBQ and boy was I impressed. The meat is the star here! I ordered their Black ayce and I was so impressed with the variety on offer. So many options including beef, poultry, pork, lamb and sushi too! The service was attentive and quick even though the restaurant was busy when we visited. We also ordered Wagyu beef platter on the side - the marbling was exquisite. Really some of the best beef ive eaten!

Great place for meat lovers!

This table BBQ restaurant is located in a busy mall surrounded by Asian food stores and restaurants. The variety and quality of meats, seafood, vegetables offered are top notch. Atmosphere is modern, inviting and relaxing, very good ventilation, you can hardly smell anything after dining there. Staff were very friendly, and efficient, no pushy sales tactics at all. Free parking in the mall, there were plenty at 6:30 pm on a Friday.

Highly recommend!
