This was my first time ever at this restaurant.
We arrived well before the closing time, and ordered everything at once—our drinks, appetizer, and entrées—to be considerate since it was later in the evening.
From the moment we were being seated, the service felt cold and unwelcoming. There was no friendly greeting. My husband asked to order a pitcher of beer, but we were told Washington state law prohibited selling a pitcher or more than two alcoholic drinks to one individual. Since there were two adults at the table, the explanation was confusing. Our appetizer was brought out, we were given no plates or napkins.
The restaurant was not crowded, and few other parties arrived around the same time or shortly after us. It felt like more than just the timing, especially as we noticed that people who were seated after us were being served properly. I genuinely tried to be understanding, but the overall experience made us feel like welcomed guests.
The lack of hospitality — this ultimately led my husband to cancel the remainder of our order, and we left without having dinner. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to share. Got a nice view out of it on the flip side.

But they brought the Appetizer with no Napkins no water ! No Smile very low Vibes ! I live in Tacoma for the last 16 years and this is my first time trying this place ! And I won't be Back !
People with color should do the same so don't waste your time and Dignity at this RAM restaurant there's few restaurants with better services and still get the same views

Absolutely love this place. It's right on the water it's easy to get a table and you can spend three or four hours there and they don't even care. So it's a great place to take a date and just enjoy the afternoon on the water. Oh and there is one added plus, they serve happy hour on the waterfront. Not a whole lot of restaurants to do that. And they now have a full-service outdoor bar. Absolutely love it and I plan to return many times!!

We hosted a large gathering on the. terrace/patio of The Ram of Ruston to welcome 100+ guests to the PNW for a wedding the following day. The beautiful backdrop of Commencement Bay combined with the attentive service of Diane and her team were excellent. The catered menu and curated beverages we pre-selected were fully enjoyed as were the opportunities for beautiful photos of family, friends and nature's gifts.

The food was excellent. Atmosphere was pretty chill. Reasonably priced. I can recommend Ram Restaurant & Brewery to my friends and family.
