I wish I could give more than five stars to the extraordinary pediatric team and nursing staff at Cedars-Sinai. Having a six-week-old baby hospitalized with pneumonia is the most terrifying, helpless experience a parent can face. In a moment of absolute panic and exhaustion, the team here didn't just care for our son—they wrapped our entire family in safety, dignity, and profound compassion.
From Day 1, the pediatric nurses on the night shift were absolute heroes. When our baby was trapped in hours of exhausting coughing marathons, it was a dedicated night nurse who stepped in with the intuition and skill to initiate suctioning, finally ending his misery and allowing him to rest.
What truly sets Cedars-Sinai apart is their philosophy of collaborative medicine. When the daytime attending physician, resident, and head nurse came in for morning rounds, they didn't just look at a medical chart—they looked at us. They gave me the floor, listened with complete empathy as I voiced my postpartum worries, and sincerely validated our experiences. The attending beautifully and seamlessly adjusting our baby’s daily treatment plan to prioritize his rest and comfort. They coordinated beautifully with the infection control team and the respiratory therapists to ensure his care was perfectly tailored to his needs.
Because of their responsiveness, our baby boy is recovering beautifully, sleeping warmly and safely, and we are looking toward discharge with an immense weight lifted off our chests.
To every doctor, resident, head nurse, and nighttime provider at Cedars-Sinai Pediatrics: thank you for protecting our baby, respecting our instincts, and restoring peace to our hearts. You are the gold standard of medicine.

Overall I’ve been extremely unimpressed with the care we’ve received at cedars. We’ve had many distressing interactions, however I will highlight our most recent - an appointment that took weeks of calling, waiting and cancellations regarding a possible infection. Since our primary pediatrician never seems to be available we were placed in the “care” of Dr Brown. Dr.Brown seemed unknowledgeable and unwilling to listen to the symptoms we, the parents, observed. I was given a short window to get a urine sample from my 2 y/o daughter and was told if she didn’t urinate then we’d have to leave, without a sample or any way of collecting one - even after I conplained she was crying out of pain whenpee’d. The doctor seemed uninterested in the diaper I brought as evidence to her symptoms - it had an overpowering ammonia snell and it was alarming (to me), he was dismissive and quick to go. I had to beg the nurse (also uninterested) to listen to me. I was told I would receive a call regarding the results yesterday after our visit - I never received a call. The results our mycslink show there was blood and protein in my child’s urine, but again I got no call and STILL today we can not get through on the phone lines due to “high call volumes”. The recording has said this for weeks. Cedars is unorganized, ill equipped and unsympathetic to children's needs and the needs of family’s. The doctors all seem tired, overworked and burnt out. I will advise anyone I meet to avoid cedars pediatrics unit for the health and well-being of their family.

Nice and informative doctors. We've seen multiple doctors here along with our regular pediatrician and they've all been great. Would recommend this place for anyone with children.
Parking is easy and underground. You do need it validated. There are 2 elevators on one side and an additional on the other side, along with stairs.

Found this place when I was pregnant. I got to go in before and meet my future pediatrician who was friendly, Informative and encourage to ask questions. Since then the staff has always made it easy to schedule appointments and connect me after hours to doctors with answers if I ever got nervous or had emergencies. Very cost effective with my PPO blue shield insurance.
