I really want to love this place but the owners need to rethink the layout. The bar extends from the back kitchen to the front entrance needlessly taking up 50% of the most valuable real estate. The result is chaos and confusion. No space for a line. Seating areas are cluttered. Customers and staff seemed stressed. My Iced Americano was great. Service was great besides appearing frazzled. I’ll add 2 stars if they hire an interior designer who understands flow.

I stopped in on my walk this morning because I had yet to visit and I am on a quest to find the best local cold brew.
The cold brew is great, but even more awesome was the two barista’s that I interacted with this morning. They were friendly, upbeat, and I felt like they truly enjoyed chatting with a customer for a few minutes.
As I was leaving, I noticed on a specials menu. They had a Vietnamese style cold brew, which I absolutely love so I will be back.
Thank you for being in the neighborhood.

Stumble across this place by accident and had such a lovely experience. The owner and piper were both very sweet and welcoming. The music was immaculate. The menu was very affordable and the chamomile tea was delicious. Overall 10/10 visit.

I’ve added this place to my regular rotation because service is so kind, it’s a great mix of people chatting socially and working, and I know I can reliably enjoy a gluten free baked good of some kind. I love that they rotate the GF items that they serve, and that there is more than one option!! The people who work there are accommodating and friendly, makes you feel like they’re welcoming you back even if it’s your first time there. So happy to have found this place.

Cozy neighborhood gem 💎!
Stopped into Mountain House Café after a yoga class at Blue Sky Yoga Studio 🧘🏻 and it was exactly the pick-me-up I needed. ☕✨
Nechama H. (Jew from the Lou! 🎙️ 💻) made us a special Café Miel 🍯 — sweet, rich, beautifully crafted with almond milk and a touch of cinnamon dust. Absolutely perfect.
The space feels local, warm, and cozy, the kind of spot where you immediately feel at home. Big shout-out to owner John, whose kindness and presence really foster a genuine sense of community. ❤️
Highly recommend this place if you want great coffee, good vibes, and a true neighborhood feel. 🌿
