Excellent experience with Epoxy Shield Coatings. Sam was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. He explained the entire process clearly and delivered exactly what he promised. The quality of the work is outstanding and the finish looks amazing. Highly recommend Sam and his team to anyone looking for top-tier epoxy work.

Sam and his team did a great job on our garage. The price was fair, the work was high quality, and his team was friendly, efficient, and easy to work with. Everything Sam said he would do, he did, and he was flexible with our schedule throughout the process.

I’ll be bringing him back next year for some more work. These floors are so worth it when done right!

When this company arrived at my house, the owner Sam claimed he would bring workers to complete the job. Instead, it turned out to be a one-man operation. He tried to do the entire job himself while cutting corners, using less and less material. I pointed out several times that he was doing the work incorrectly and needed to properly repair the cracks, but he dismissed my concerns, repeatedly telling me that “he knows what he’s doing” and that we had a 10-year warranty.

The results were a complete disaster. The epoxy sank into the cracks he refused to repair, and when I called him back the next day to inspect the work, he promised he would fix it. His “repair” was even worse—he did a terrible job masking and covering, leaving our doors and floors dirty.

Three months later, while I was outside Canada, he came again to “redo” the work. When I called him to give clear instructions, he brushed me off saying he had “searched ChatGPT” and knew what he was doing. The outcome was worse than before: the cracks were still visible, the floor was unsafe, and he destroyed the finish. The garage floor is now so slippery that my wife slipped and broke her leg.

To make matters worse, when I tried to hold him accountable, he declined to honor the warranty because we had paid him in cash. This shows not only a lack of professionalism but also a complete lack of honesty.

This is not a real epoxy company—it’s just one man with no experience, pretending to run a business. The workmanship is terrible, the cracks are worse than before, and he refuses to take responsibility.

Please, do not make the same mistake I did. Save yourself the stress, money, and potential injury. Find a company that is honest, professional, and truly stands by its work.

Really happy I chose to go with this company. I was wanting to epoxy my garage for a while and came across their ad. The owner was very quick in driving out and giving an estimate. They started working on it the same week and the result was exactly what I was hoping for. Very transparent and easy to deal with!
