I was in town for a work conference and was looking for a breakfast spot. I saw Achilles Coffee had great reviews and the breakfast burrito was calling my name haha. I wt around 9:30am and got a breakfast burrito with ham (you can upgrade and pay more for bacon or chicken cranberry sausage) and an Ear Grey tea. The burrito was $13 and it came with scrambled eggs, spinach, heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, onion, & white cheddar. It also comes with salsa on the side. The burrito was so delicious and definitely would order that again. I didn't really care for the salsa. I would have preferred a salsa verde or roasted tomato salsa instead. They use loose leaf for their tea, so my tea was perfect. It was $4.25 for a regular size. The staff is friendly and there's some seating inside and outside. Definitely coming back when I'm in San Diego.

The staff here is aggressively hostile and unprofessional. The cashier started the interaction completely annoyed by customers. Because they were out of cold brew, I ordered an iced Americano with orange cold foam to replicate the "Julian."
The drink came out wrong. When I asked about it, the barista complained loudly to her coworker about being "fed up," then shoved a separate cup of cold foam at me to "do it myself." The foam was so thick it was like ice cream and wouldn't pour. When I went back to the counter to kindly ask for help, the employee ignored the issue and literally scolded me about trash separation guidelines for the two cups.
I approached them politely throughout, but this team is entirely checked out and miserable. Avoid this place at all costs.

The sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious, and the chai tea was very good too.
If you’re coming for food and drinks, I’d definitely recommend this place. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for studying or working. The space is quite small, and the chairs aren’t very comfortable for sitting for a long time.
For me, it’s 5 stars for the food and 3 stars for comfort.

Nice place and wonderful staff! I grabbed my coffee here every morning while visiting San Diego. The flat white with an extra shot made my days so much better. Thanks guys!

Coffee was good and tasty. I asked for a semi-dry cappuccino , though it was closer to a latte, too much milk. Maybe next time is better. It seems popular with good crowd. No more pastries available at 10:30am Sunday. Come early. Other sandwiches options and drinks look good.
