I have since removed my glowing review of Ammy while trying to rent a 3rd unit. Everything has gone downhill since then. Countless emails, countless police reports since Aug 22, 2025
Secured gate being left open, transients living in units with jimmied locks, theft, rates have increased 3 times.

My next door neighbor contacted me when she went to her storage unit at your facility in North Richland Hills ( Smithfield Rd). The very one all of my email chains refer to
Not only was her storage unit broken into, a couple of doors down a unit was wide open and 1/4 of the unit was cleared out
( was not open when I went by around 8 am Friday). A unit across from my neighbor had the lock beat to hell

I don't know how many bad reviews you have to get before you actually do something about this or how many tenants have to leave!!! or how many times the police have to be called!

Apparently it’s an inside job with no one caring how much stuff has to be stolen!

Please advise if you have a corporate officer who can actually do something to secure this facility

Someone has been breaking into units over the past few months and NO ONE at their corporate office seems to care. Our unit was recently broken into and there were multiple units with the doors half way open so I am assuming their units were broken into as well. Why won’t corporate step in and get this under control. No point in paying for a storage unit if you have to worry about your stuff being stolen.

10 Federal Storage has a good handful of locations to show from. The one off Starnes and Smithfield is easy to get into, clean and nice. It was easy to setup an online reservation and no hassle of getting the gate code and lock code. Payments are automatically withdrawn which makes making payments easier as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Every time I come here, there’s a different surprise. Either it’s trash everywhere or people living inside of the space.

I tried to ignore it hoping they had a plan to remediate, but at this point it does not look like it

They charge you a maintenance fee for every person inside the building yet they can’t employee just 1 person to overlook the premise. I would not suggest it to anyone considering

#10federalstorage bought this storage facility recently and installed a faulty QR code opening system. This is the second time I’ve been locked out. 32 mins on hold after txting back and forth to their site Bot. No one to talk to and the txt bot goes in a loop. #badsystem
