Steve did an excellent job restoring and repainting our walkway. The transformation was remarkable, and it now truly stands out, as shown in the attached photos.

Steve and his crew were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with throughout the project. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship were evident from start to finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend Steve's services to anyone looking for exceptional results.

He is a Stone Whisperer. He knows and understands stone on a molecular level. He treats the stone with a reverence it deserves.

The crew is always respectful of the surrounding environment. Plastic sheeting is taped, hung and placed on all possessions. Waterproof tarps are set up as runners to protect adjacent floors. When he is finished all that's left is the thoroughly cleaned stone, brought back to life glistening in the morning and afternoon sun.

Consider the experience both a long term investment, as it is not inexpensive, as well as an opportunity to witness a master craftsman work his magic as he pulls the beauty and luster from the stone.

Excellent service. Steve and his crew at Old Stone Restoration saved an epoxy floor that had been poorly installed by another company. He’s honest, arrives on time, and does exactly what he promises — I wish every vendor worked this way. Clearly knows his stuff, and the results show. Highly recommend — you won’t be disappointed if you hire them.

Avoid This Contractor – Unprofessional and Overpriced Experience

I had a very BAD experience with this cement floor refinisher. When he first came for an estimate, he spent a long time talking without getting to the point and ended up giving me two different estimates. He later returned to do “samples,” but before even starting, he had me watch videos about the process and made me jump through unnecessary hoops.
Then came the shock — he charged me $2,500 just for the samples. He claimed $1,250 of that was for color samples, yet when I decided I didn’t want color, he still demanded the full amount, saying it covered his “time.” After cashing my check, he sent me a new estimate that was DOUBLE the original price! When I questioned this, he told me it was my problem if I didn’t like his prices.
He also wanted access inside my home to hook into my electrical panel, the job was in the garage, which I found very concerning — especially after learning that other professional companies bring their own power source. I ended up getting two additional quotes, and both were half of his price. The company I hired instead brought their own generator and finished the job beautifully in just two weeks, while this guy claimed it would take him four to five weeks.
In the end, I feel completely taken advantage of and out $2,500 for nothing but frustration. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone — unprofessional, overpriced, and dishonest about his costs and process.

Thrilled with working with Steve from Old Stone from start to finish. I was so frustrated with the marble in my bathroom being super cloudy and having stains. I called for a consultation with Steve and he came the very next day. He was kind, considerate, and had an immediate solution for me. He came the following week and restored my marble floor to perfection. he was reliable affordable, and I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you again !

I couldn’t be happier with the results from Old Stone Restoration & Installation Corp! We had etched and stained marble floors that needed professional marble restoration and they brought them back to life. Their team handled the entire marble polishing, refinishing, and sealing process with precision. We live in Suffolk County and were searching for “marble repair near me” — I’m so glad we found them. They’re experts in granite restoration, terrazzo floor restoration, and even did a great job with our showroom flooring. They were prompt, professional, and the best value we’ve found in Long Island marble care. Highly recommend them for any stone restoration project in the NYC metro area.
