This was the fourth time I have been to the Valvoline facility in Crystal Lake. The staff are extremely professional and helpful. Suggested options that could be done to the vehicle but were never pushy. The facility is very clean and has a high standard of operation.

Ruby and Isabella were rock stars! I’ve been to this Valvoline many times, and this most recent visit was the best experience I’ve had there yet — all thanks to them. They handled my oil change quickly and professionally.

this happened a while back but I figured i should warn people in case this ever happens to anyone else.

I took my car here for a full-synthetic oil change. A couple weeks later my dad checked my oil & asked me why it was so dirty. I had no idea how it could be considering I had just gotten an oil change done.

We took my car to my mechanic, who normally does my oil changes & they said “this looks like you haven’t gotten your oil changed since the last time you came here”. So I got my oil changed with them & will continue to do so.

I’m not sure what had happened but I paid for a full-synthetic service, that apparently was not done. I’m just warning other people, I truly do not care for any type of response. I will never return.

A little over 5k miles ago, I had my oil changed here. Yesterday I had it changed elsewhere and that is when I learned that you all use a tool to put on oil filters on when is recommended to hand tighten.

... 3 different techs spent a ridiculous amount of time removing it, there was a moment, they thought I may have get it towed out to a shop.

We can't even trust an oil change place to do an oil change correctly?? smh

I pulled in 15 min till close absolutely they greeted me with smiles and I was out in 12 minutes - Crystal lake location was courteous, fast and friendly. And they offered a $25 off coupon . Can't beat that!!! 5 stars!
