I wanted to love this, but the value just isn't there.

I Spent $23.19 plus tips for 5 tenders ($15.50 no side included), a side of seasoned fries ($5.50), and a small garlic honey dipping sauce ($0.75). For that price point, I expected high-quality food, but the tenders were REALLY dry, chewy and lacked flavor, and the fries portion was disappointingly small( for the price point and quality).

Leaving this honest feedback in hopes they can improve their quality and portions to match their prices.

This is my 5th order! I’m a pescatarian and only order the seafood. Jerk shrimp was good, salmon was good and the whiting was decent. I’ve only ordered the Mac and cheese, yams and peas and rice. All bomb. Today I ordered again the salmon but baby… today was different, more flavor and cooked to perfection. This price of salmon looked like smoked ribs. IJS… very good service and the owner is very nice. I love supporting my Black Owned Business. I’ll be back.

I ordered online, directly from the exotic website. I was 1.3 miles away from the store and my delivery took roughly 30 minute or longer. When I got the food my fist impression was why is the bag so light? I opened my meal, and it looked attractive 😋 so tried the rice first, omg I was disappointed 😞 too soft and little peas, tasted like frozen rice when reheated. Then I tried the broccoli, smh 🤦 no flavor 😒 now for the jerk chicken bits, I call it bits because they were cut too small. However it was the one good tasting thing 😋 👌 just the size cuts were too small. Also I didn't get a set of cutlery, only a fork and it wasn't wrapped or packaged. Hence I rate this restaurant at a 3. I'll try it again and let you know. I like the jerk chicken. I heard their Mac and cheese is good so I'll try it and let you all know.

I can’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant where everything was a home run!
From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. I especially loved that they offered samples of their menu before I ordered it made me feel genuinely taken care of. I went with the oxtail, mac & cheese, and rice, and every single bite was outstanding. The oxtail was perfectly seasoned and fall-off-the-bone tender, the mac & cheese was rich and creamy, and the rice tied it all together beautifully. No notes at all.
Shoutout to Yancie for the fantastic service he was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This spot is an absolute gem. I’ll definitely be back soon!

OMGoodness!!!!! Where do I start? First off 10/10 would recommend!!!!
Been here 3x already and all 3 times has been nothing but greatness! Our first time we met Yami and she was wonderful and helpful! The food was great! 2 time, we ordered from online but when picking up we were remembered! Food was great! 3x we met the owner Yancie and was just fantastic! Truly down to earth! And the food was GREAT! So overall we’re just happy we came across this restaurant!
So far we got the sweet chili chicken, bbq chicken, cayman sauce chicken, mac and cheese, yams, collard greens, oxtails with the pasta, blueberry cornbread, banana pudding cheesecake.
