I worked with Michael, who brokered the shipment of my car. Michael and I spoke twice— once when I was simply inquiring and then again when booking. He was easygoing & answered the many, many questions I had about the process. He ended up staying late to get my car on a trailer last minute.

Working with brokers, however, is not the true test of a positive experience— working with the company that will ultimately ship your car is. American Logistics Prime Line Inc. ended up shipping my car. Two people picked up my car, one quickly documented its condition and provided a Bill of Lading. Both calmed my nerves. If you’re not aware, there are car shipping horror stories circulating on Reddit, Yelp, and Google Review that involve severe damage, theft, illicit markets, love triangles. OK maybe not that last part.

The American Logistics crew picked up my car on a Saturday and three days later, delivered it safely. They were in constant communication with me via text and worked with me on an alternative method of payment & drop off. Their service was truly stellar.

The shipment of my car marks yet another successful ship for Smart Auto Move and American Logistics.

Excellent service from start to finish. We used Smart Auto Move to shop my son’s Tesla from Chicago to Los Angeles without any issues, and communication was great. Would definitely use them again!

We were impressed with how fast and affordable Smart Auto Move made our experience. We ordered the move over the weekend and they showed up Tuesday night. The car was delivered by Wednesday. Now to be fair their time estimates are terrible. They said 7pm and showed up at 9:30pm. I had already parked the car back inside by then. The pick up was professional and they handled the car responsibly. They even agreed when I asked them to park the car in a specific spot at the destination. Customer service was also very responsive. I would use them again.

I contacted Smart Auto Move two days before I need my car transported due a family emergency that required me to be back home. They were able to get my car from Chicago to Los Angeles within a weekend and they were so easy to contact and get a quote from. The quote was cheaper than other companies had given me and they even helped when I need to make a last minute change to pick-up location. My car arrived safe and I was extremely happy with their service! Would definitely use again in the future.

Richard clearly doesn't want nor need my business. Promises phone calls back and then acts extremely confused when you call him 3 days after he promised you a call back and doesn't know what you're talking about. I spoke to him at least 5 times, and got nowhere. What a waste of my time! I wanted to ship my sons car to him on a Military Base. I found somebody else who was cheaper... keep looking and don't waste your time with Richard!

Wow, I’m still surprised with how pleasant my experience was with Smart Auto Move. I reached out for an online quote and received a response within minutes. I was able to schedule a pickup from the Chicagoland area to the Houston area within a couple of days. The driver picked up my car on a Friday morning and delivered it to me the next morning! Thank you to Richard and the whole team for the excellent customer service and for taking care of my car so well. I will definitely use them for my future auto transport needs!
