Was encouraged by the high reviews. Purchased tickets online. Walked in to employees watching screens above them. Apathetic greeting. Scanned my QR code. Walked in to sticky floors. There is no ordering of food from the seats as advertised. Not sure I’d eat here based on the poor upkeep of the public areas. Sad because there’s potential to be great.

It's a small theater, however we didn't have a hard time finding tickets or seats for Toy Story 5. Service was excellent and friendly faces. We all had a good time

This is a go to for my family movie night outs. Friendly staff, comfortable seats. Sound quality could improve a bit but this place is really budget friendly.

They had a power outage, but still tried to keep it functional. The sound and focus was pff for a second, but in the end they fixed it and made the experience enjoyable. The staff looked like motivated and engaging, which is saying something in the service world.

Movie theaters must just not be doing very well these days. I'm assuming that because this was the first time in a long time that I've gone to one. Sadly, this one was pretty messy/dirty. The bathroom was disgusting, only because it wasn't maintained worth a darn. Soap dispenser worked but was broken and messed up. Employees seemed more interested in talking to each other and coworkers that weren't on shift yet than serving the customers, but when you asked them, they were nice enough.

Movie experience was ok except we had multiple chairs without a cup holder (looked like they broke off and were never replaced). Surround sound didn't seem very existent, but it was just a kids movie so no one really cared. Then at the end, the lights never turned back on for people to be able to see (which seems like a major potential liability for injuries...). Chairs were comfy enough. Sadly, won't be back.

First time here and I loved it! The staff was super friendly and the prices can’t be beat. The general manager Travis was really nice and made me feel like I’ve known him forever. He gave me movie recommendations and I’ll come back just for him

The surround sound was pretty good, it was cheap, and seats were comfortable and that was about my only positives. Getting our concessions took almost a good 10-15 minutes when no one was in line, one of the workers wasn't really getting us the right thing till we pointed it out, the theater was messy and there were food trays left over from the previous movies, the bathrooms were messy and some of them leaked, and the popcorn made me and multiple people in my family sick that night and the next morning. If I had to choose, I'd pick somewhere else

UPDATE: The manager, Travis, responded almost immediately to my (strongly worded) email. Not only did he apologize, he offered to cover the expense of my initial ticket, he offered tickets to another show, free popcorn & sodas- for myself & a friend. So far, I feel Travis is handling this situation as a Manager SHOULD. After the completion of these promises, I will update again. Thanks y'all!
INITIAL REVIEW:
Showed up 25min early, with a pre-paid ticket, to see "David"..
-Doors locked
-No-one there, nor answered when I knocked (other people were also waiting)
-No-one EVER showed (I stayed until 20min AFTER my movie start time)
-Ph's never answered/voicemail not set up
-No response to previous post, which I now can't find

Not had a bad experience yet all is at good expectations.
Theatre surround sound, space is admirable and the location is great, reliable and suitable
being between the Northside and Highway 199 in Azle Tx I find it fit and comfortable distance been going there for a good 15 yrs and my favorite place for fun and an exciting movie..

We absolutely love Texas Movie Bistro - we pretty much ONLY come here for a movie theater experience. I'm okay with a "standard" theater and for the value this place cannot be matched. They offer 3D movies, all the snack and popcorn plus the burgers and pizza are good! The theaters are very rarely packed and did I mention the value?!?! We love this place!
