Azteca D' Oro was really good. The food options were great. The food tasted excellent. It was a first time and I'm definitely returning with friends to enjoy the food with them.

Fantastic last-minute birthday celebration!

​I called around noon to see if they could accommodate a large party of 9 at 7:00 PM, and they got us all set up without hesitation. When we arrived, we were seated right away—no waiting around, which is rare for a group our size!
​The atmosphere was incredibly fun, especially with the live Mariachi band playing, making it the perfect vibe for a birthday celebration.
​The food and drinks were top-notch all around:
​Table-side guac (a must-try!)
​Fresh chips and dips
​Excellent main dishes: Everything from the tacos, burritos, and fajitas to the perfectly cooked steak.
​Margaritas: Flowing, delicious, and hit the spot.
​Everyone had a fantastic time. Great food, great drinks, and amazing service. Huge thank you to the team for taking such great care of a last-minute large party! We will definitely be back.

First time visiting and honestly, we left pretty underwhelmed.

When we walked in, no one was at the hostess stand. After waiting about 10 minutes, someone finally came over and tried to seat us at two different tables that were still dirty from previous customers. Once we were finally seated, we waited another 10 minutes before someone brought chips and salsa and told us our server would be over shortly.

Another 10 minutes passed and we had nearly finished the chips when someone came by and asked if we had been helped. We said no and that we were waiting for our server. She offered to get our drink order, which we appreciated. About 10 minutes later she returned with our drinks and another basket of chips while we continued waiting.

During this time, we watched her visit multiple tables around us but not ours. After about 15 minutes she came back and asked if we wanted more chips. We explained that we were still waiting to order. She then took our food order, but at that point we had no idea if she was actually our server or just helping out. By then we had already finished three drinks without being checked on.

Eventually our food arrived, and we had to ask the food runner for drink refills since we still hadn’t been checked on. Throughout the entire meal, the server visited the surrounding tables several times but rarely spoke to us. We never even got her name.

Food-wise, we ordered the steak fajitas, macho burrito, birria tacos, chicken flautas, and a kids chicken fajita meal. The burrito and birria tacos were the best items we tried. Unfortunately, the fajitas were very lacking in flavor. Honestly, Chili’s has better fajitas, which was disappointing. The tortillas were overcooked and crumbling. When I asked for new ones, those were hard as well. The guacamole was served as a solid chunk that I had to mash myself, and the chicken flautas were dry with some burnt pieces of chicken.

For a meal that totaled over $150, both the food and the service were very disappointing. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Highly recommended upscale Mexican Restaurant. Price is high when compared to regular Mexican places, but nothing unusual based on the ambience, service, location, quality and quantity of food. Their portions are large even for lunch menu items. You can expect to spend $15-$20 per person for lunch and you certainly get what you pay for. The place has several seating areas, all decorated well. Presentation of food is simply amazing. Once you go, you will want to be back again. Kudos to the management and staff!

This was our first time dining at Azteca and what a great experience! However, don’t eat too many of the yummy delicious chips and salsa, the portions are ginormous and both my husband and I went home with another meal for tomorrow! Paula T was the best! Thank you, Paula, for your incredible service! You made it an amazing experience! We will see you soon!
