These people are LIARS and THIEVES. They tell you some nonsense about how they have to check in with you every three and a half months but that's simply not true. I called the state and was told every seven months is perfectly fine.
Around August 5 I had an appointment with Mr. Weitzman of MMJ Health. The whole experience was sketchy and rinky dink, and Weitzman could not have been more rude, offensive, unprofessional and disrespectful.
The office was at 433 Central Ave in St Pete. It wasn’t marked outside anywhere, and I walked into the address and up the stairs, where I found myself staring at ten second floor residential apartments. I walked around them, and noticed a storage area through a window and a couple people in there. There was no sign, but that was the clinic. It was not an office either, it was a desk behind a divan across from stacks of boxes.
I sat down with Weitzman, who was wearing a ridiculous afro wig and repeatedly eyeballed his phone which was right in front of him on his desk during our very brief appointment. After asking me the exact same question, word for word three times, he abruptly said, “I’d like you to leave my office now. This appointment is over.” He then picked up and dialed his phone while walking onto the other side of the divan and away from me. It may have lasted two minutes at the most.
I was absolutely gobsmacked at the arrogance and unprofessional rudeness, he really was that condescending and disrespectful.
The next day I called their office ready to tell them to get lost but someone else there was professional and polite, put in an RFE for me that was approved and I decided I wouldn’t say anything until it came time to renew, but I had already decided there was no way I want anything to do with Weitzman again.

On Monday June 1 they informed that I could no longer complete the appointment by phone because Weitzman left the practice and I had to see a new doctor, and that I had to make a two hour plus 60 mile round trip to Tampa because they closed their St Pete office. When I asked how long ago Weitzman left the practice he told me about a month ago. I asked why they hadn’t notified his patients much sooner and they had no answer. They are doing everything possible to inconvenience me.
When I called and informed that I was not driving to Tampa and asked for a refund because I had paid for a telephone call, they refused, sent me a rude text message informing me the appointment was canceled and the cancelation fee just happened to be 27 dollars. I already called my bank and they’re disputing it. My bank actually sounded kind of pissed, between the closed office, the canceled phone call, the service never provided and the required long dangerous drive to Tampa.
Also, their now closed St Pete office still shows up on google, and the number is still active. They never had an office at 433 Central—just a key to a storage area, a desk, a divan, a cell phone, a wig and a horrible attitude.

This process was super easy and smooth from start to finish. I moved here from Los Angeles and have always kept up my medical card. I found MMJ online with great reviews and centrally located. Sarah at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, which helped to ease my initial anxiety. The doctor was friendly and informative. Very knowledgable and understanding.

I'm so happy I found MMJ Heath. Sarah and Dr. Weitzman make a great team. The process was quick and easy and I got all my questions answered. My husband and I went together and our visit was only 30 min total. We get significant neuropathy pain relief from cannabis. Now we're able to go to the dispensary and safely and legally make purchase for in home use. This is the best thing I've done for my quality of life in years. No regrets.

The Doctor and Sarah were AMAZING!! Had my first visit with them recently and both made me feel super comfortable; not to mention they had a great sense of humor.
