I asked if I could write a review because I wanted to acknowledge the Nick Barta Team’s fantastic service. It feels rare these days to find excellent customer service so it stands out when you meet someone like Drue. Drue went above and beyond for me. From the get-go he was super knowledgeable and answered my many questions. He knew about CHFA and was able to provide a lot of helpful information. He was patient, professional and really responsive. As I’ve been on the home buying journey I’ve been really grateful for his expertise and help which made this process so much smoother. I’d highly recommend Drue and the Nick Barta Team! Very misleading and made us feel pressured to agree to a modification (8 months later) we were not comfortable with because they misrepresented our final due date. We were threatened the loan would be due in full now if we didn’t sign their modification. The original paperwork was what we agreed to and correct but they made an error. We would have never moved forward having two payments due as a final payment. The maturity date is now a full month before our final payment is due. We felt like they did whatever it took to close the deal and get paid and are making us pay for it after the fact because they are in trouble.

Edit: You and your team called day in day out and were ones to pressure us and then set up that weird notary. Some totally unprofessional, strange woman, that made us uncomfortable in our own home. We have the messages you left us, the modification was pushed by you because you approved December as our first and final payment but that went against what the mortgage company allows so we were forced to change it so our final payment is actually two payments due at once. Please stop being deceptive and trying to mislead what happened. You gave us no choice and brushed it off as no big deal. It ruined our experience with your company and the lack of accountability from you says all that needs to be said. Thanks!

Nick and his team were absolutely phenomenal in handling our refinance. From start to finish, they were meticulous, honest, and incredibly communicative. Their updates were prompt and detailed, keeping us informed every step of the way.
