I took my Prius to the dealership for an oil change. The dealership told me that I needed new brake pads. I checked around and decided to have the work done at Mission Auto. Mission Auto took a look and declared the pads to still be good. They gave my car a 20 point inspection and didn't charge me a dime! :)

Took my car here a couple of weeks ago because we could tell the suspension was getting bad, as well as a few other things. During their inspection, they found nothing wrong with the struts, or any of the things we had concerns about. Instead they found other things that had never been a problem, and quoted us an insane amount to fix them. We decided not to get any work done and just pick my car up instead. It cost $90 for the inspection.
Fast forward to today, we take my car to another shop for an oil change and second opinion on the suspension. As it turns out my struts do need to be replaced and are in pretty bad shape, as well as the front rotors and brakes. All things that we had been worried about previously. That being said I DO NOT recommend Mission Auto. Their prices are outrageous, and they obviously did not do a very thorough inspection. Definitely find some where else to go.

I can’t say enough good things about Mission Auto KC. I was in town for a doctor’s appointment when my vehicle became unsafe to drive. Having car trouble while away from home is stressful, and I had no plans to have my vehicle serviced today.

The team at Mission Auto KC quickly got me in, thoroughly inspected my vehicle, and immediately started the extensive brake repairs it needed. Even though they stayed after hours to finish the job, they never made me feel like an inconvenience and maintained a positive, professional attitude throughout the entire process.

What impressed me most was their honesty. They removed services from the estimate that weren’t actually necessary, which saved me money and showed they genuinely care about their customers rather than upselling unnecessary work. Their pricing was fair, and they stand behind their work with a 3-year/36,000-mile parts and labor warranty, which gave me even more confidence in the repairs.

Although I don’t live in the Kansas City area, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mission Auto KC to anyone who does. They turned what could have been a very stressful and frustrating experience into one that exceeded my expectations. I’m incredibly grateful for their outstanding customer service, honesty, and quality workmanship. Thank you for getting me safely back on the road!

3 days before the Holiday weekend I had my oil changed at the Acura dealer. They said I needed front struts & control arms. My MDX has 158k miles on it, so they weren't hustling me. They quoted a high price to do it.
I saved $700 by going to Mission Auto KC. And it was done before the weekend!

I’ve had vehicles fixed and have recommended Mission Auto KC and I have yet to hear any negative feedback. Especially after my last experience with the depth of the task I gave them, body off engine work, hands down top notch! Not one issue after they gave it back to us. Brett was informative and above all honest about this job. That is hard to come by these days. Trust the process and trust them with your hard earned investment. They will take care of you.
