A nice little DFW commuter airport.

Not easy to find via Google Maps - it took me to the other side of Longview to an old private airstrip. I had to ask for directions at the QT. Use Apple Maps instead - it has the correct directions.

Wonderful small airport, friendly TSA workers. There's hardly ever a long line. No need to arrive 2 hours early here. I arrived 45 minutes before my flight and still had 35 minutes to sit and wait to board.

Only 2-3 flights per day, so if there's a cancelation, you might be driving to DFW, or not getting out, but the airport is easy to get in and out of, clean, and the gate area never feels crowded, even before a full flight

Great little airport saved me a 2 and a half hour drive into DFW! By far the best TSA employees I have ever met. They earned the 5 stars! Never seen a more polite and courteous group of screeners!! Give them a raise! Screening was a little slower than at an international airport but with the lower volume of travelers it still took less time.

My husband and I were at the East Texas Regional Airport, this afternoon. The airport is clean and brightly lit. Parking is free, in the large, well-lit lot. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. On this rainy August afternoon, the airport is chilly (very well air-conditioned).
