I would give Bravadas in Fairfax, Virginia, zero stars based on my experience trying to become a new client. Before spending what would likely be a significant amount of money on hair restoration services, I expected responsive and professional customer service. Instead, I was repeatedly told that someone would contact me within 24 to 48 hours after I sent two separate emails, but I never received a single phone call. As a potential customer, this left a very poor first impression.
My experience continued to get worse. On July 27 at 10:52 a.m., I called their office and was told that someone would call me the following day because they were closed. The next day, I called again at 11:44 a.m. and reached voicemail. I called back at 2:43 p.m., and a gentleman answered, took my information, and assured me that someone would call me within minutes. By 5:00 p.m., when the business closed, I still had not received any call. At every step, I was promised a response that never came.
Customer service is often the first indication of how a business values its clients. If a company cannot consistently follow through on something as simple as returning calls to schedule a consultation, it raises serious concerns about the overall customer experience. I decided to take my business elsewhere because I should not have to repeatedly chase a company just to schedule an appointment. Bravadas lost a local customer because of what I experienced as poor communication, lack of follow-through, and an apparent disregard for potential clients. I hope this feedback encourages the business to improve its responsiveness so future customers have a better experience than I did.

Update: The response from the owner is not accurate by any means. No one called me until after I left reviews on multiple social media outlets. I did receive a call about two hours after leaving these reviews from Rhina and I will not be using their services. It should not take two weeks of emails and me constantly calling to get an appointment or an person to answer my questions. Lastly, the failure on their end was clearly the owners fault and he failed to communicate appropriately and service a potential long term customer. I did schedule an appointment but since no one has even apologized for the hassle and inconvenience I decided I will take my business where it will be appreciated and just drive a further distance to a place that values it's customers or potential customers. The owner clearly lacks professionalism and honesty so I lost all trust and his response is condensing.

Highly recommend this place. Very professional pleasant place welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable. You are definitely cared for by the staff. No consultation fees, large wig variety, excellent quality, reasonable prices and fast service. Thank you so much for the wonderful shopping experience and we will definitely return.

Walking into Bravadas Wigs & Hair Restoration was incredibly intimidating for me because I’m completely new to toppers and wigs after experiencing significant hair loss from GLP-1 medications. From the moment I met Mequeda, she made me feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for. Her customer service is absolutely amazing.

She immediately knew which human hair topper would work best for me and custom-colored and blended the roots perfectly to match my natural hair. When I picked it up a week later, I was honestly amazed — it was an exact match and blended so seamlessly that no one can tell I’m wearing a topper. She also revamped a topper I had purchased online that was looking, candidly, very tired. When I picked it up a week later, it was absolutely perfect.

The entire process was professional, timely, and exactly as promised. I do want to mention that this is not an inexpensive, mail-order wig experience, and there are certainly more affordable options out there. But in my personal opinion, with wigs and toppers, you truly get what you pay for. The quality, customization, expertise, and confidence this gave me were absolutely worth it.

Mequeda’s talent, honesty, and kindness made what could have been a very emotional and uncomfortable experience feel easy and empowering. I truly cannot recommend them enough. I will be a long term client for sure!

They did a fabulous job of coloring and highlighting my wig! I took in a human hair wig that was 4-years old and they gave it a new lease on life. Very happy with the service and quality.

I don't know bubkus about wigs, extensions and hair products but I know someone who does. She liked the store and staff. Some repair work that was supposed to be ready wasn't ready. The store was neat, stylish. Staff was sort of helpful and dealt with a post-sale special request with no whining extra cost.
