So many amazing things to say about this animal clinic. Great and KIND service and humane prices. I called to bring in my fiancé’s dog in for diagnostic tests and unfortunately end of life care and was met with kindness, understanding and compassion. Receptionist Ashely and Dr Mary Demian explained everything so patiently and delicately and really helped us understand what was going on. We received multiple follow-up calls throughout the process and everything was explained thoroughly. At the end of it all, we were provided with options for cremation and receptionist Ashley even provided complementary paw and nose prints. We were truly overwhelmed with the kindness and affordability of this clinic. Thank you so much Dr Demian, Ashely and all staff at Brimley-Lawrence Animal clinic.

i'm writing this under a pseudonym and a bit of time after the appointment due to the sensitive nature of my review.

i would not recommend this clinic for putting to sleep/compassionate end/euthanasia. we were clearly very distraught and all we could hear during the entirety of our appointment was the clinic staff laughing and chatting happily in the other room while constantly coming in and out of the door. it was extremely rude, insensitive, and disrespectful to our situation. there was no dignity or compassion for us.

although the doctor did his best to offer condolences, the entire appointment felt like we were being rushed through a 'typical' day for them. i understand it likely is just another day for the clinic but due to their experience, i would have expected more understanding for the heightened emotional distress of putting a family member to sleep.

Had to say good bye to my dog today they have very fair price and the gentleman that did the procedure went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and answered all question we had the world need more vets like him because of the situation I dont remember his name

Super friendly. They actually care about your pet and you can tell. The doctor Sam is really nice and it’s very very well priced compared to other vets charging you just to say hi to your pet. I will always come back here.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience here. I took my cat here (as my current vet was unavailable) as my cat wasn't eating and had some sneezing and wheezing. I had a scheduled appointment for 1:15 but we were not seen until 2:30.

The vet was friendly and gentle with my cat and provided some options for next steps. I was a bit shocked at the bill (over $660) considering it seemed like she just had a cold. I chose through the advice of the vet to have an X-ray done to check her lungs and for bronchitis and was told that the results would be ready in likely 24 hours, max 48 hours. I wanted the results ASAP of course to make sure my cat was OK and if not, ensure I'm able to action any next steps. I was disappointed that I had to call the following day, and the following day after to ask about the results. It wasn't until 3 days later that I finally got a call from the vet saying everything looked fine. I asked why they couldn't have had someone else call me earlier with the results to which she said that she wasn't available the prior days and prefers to deliver news herself. I understand things and emergencies happen out of our control. But what I don't understand is why someone else did not call to deliver this news and I was left waiting and worrying for a few days. This left me feeling like my cat was not prioritized. I likely will not come back here unless absolutely needed.

I’ve been taking my dog to this clinic for the past 12 years, and they have always been upfront and never charged more than what was quoted. Their different vets are all experienced and very knowledgeable. The only downside is that on my last visit they no longer had a dentist on-site and referred me to their sister clinic, which turned out to be a terrible experience. The sister clinic slowly added charges, ended up billing me almost three times what Brimley charged for my dog’s tooth extraction, and surprised me with the higher bill in the middle of the surgery.

This clinic is amazing! I've been going for years, I have 3, 15 year old cats and Dr. Mary is INCREDIBLE ❤️ You just feel how she genuinely cares for you pet & understands how expensive that can be, so there are never unnecessary tests etc & "up-sells". My last visit I was met outside by the lovely Ashlee who even took the carrier from me as he's a bit heavy & (I'm not always so sure on my feet) brought us right into a room right across, so no stairs for me 😊 she even helped me back out to the car with him ❤️ I highly recommend this animal care clinic & trust when I say I've been to a few horrible ones.

I can't describe how amazing this place is. My dog doesn't like just anyone but he is so entirely calm with the vet, not stressed ever. I have brought him here for 5 years. This past week he had a seizure in the morning. I called immediately and asked if they could help me last minute. They said I could come in right away. They assisted me on arrival and I was out of there in a very timely manner. They also said he had a bit of an ear infection so they gave me medication for that as well. They've handled everything from his neutering to vaccinations and now this. I'm always able to get an appointment and they are always so friendly. I can't recommend them enough to everyone ☺️ thank you so much to every staff member here for always being there for my little guy. ❤️

Great visit! We've been bringing our dog and cats here for years, she was even spayed here. Their prices have always been reasonable. I understand prices have gone up everywhere but some of the quotes I got from other vets were almost double or triple of what Brimley was offering for the exact same service! I really think it depends on what vet you get when you visit will determine your experience but the one we got today was great. He did a thorough exam and actually listened to what I was telling him. He didn't push any other products and let us know to keep up the treatment at home.
We were definitely happy with our visit today!

Not another vet in this area that I would trust with my puppies care. I have been using this clinic as long as I've lived in the city, and would go no where else. Quick friendly professional services ALWAYS. Reasonable prices and options to save with medications prescribed and filled at shoppers drug mart. A special thank you for your compassion to not just my animals, but myself. Highly recommend by Monte and I!
