My experience at H-Gregoire Hyundai Vaudreuil was excellent from start to finish!

The receptionist was super friendly in both languages and offered me coffee or water just for being there…. The salesman (Collin Campeau) was super helpful, accommodating and understanding without being pushy! His manager made appearances without them seeming to be gratuitous or an obligation of any sort. Collin made several trips to his manager and did everything reasonable and more to get me a deal I was comfortable with (again without even once seeming the least bit pushy). When it came time to sign papers/the contract, I was introduced to Danika Rozon and she offered me what I’ve come to expect as a routine warranty upgrade but she really worked with me (patiently and clearly answering ALL my questions!) and was sooo reasonable, helpful, delightful and offered me such a good deal, that I finally accepted the extended warranty with the same good feeling I had after negotiating the car price with Collin.

If my car pick up tomorrow goes as well as the rest of this process, I can genuinely say that I was/am completely thrilled with the entire experience and actually even… enjoyed… it!!

I am writing this review with good intentions and complete honesty as a paying customer who recently purchased a used 2014 Camaro from your dealership. I initially found this vehicle on CarGurus and, at first glance, it appeared to be a solid deal. My salesperson was Emile. We agreed on a price and during our discussions regarding safety for registration purposes, I specifically asked about the undercarriage.

Unfortunately, Emile provided false information about the vehicle’s maintenance and assured me it was road ready. I am from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and planned to fly to Montreal, test drive it, purchase, and then drive the car approximately 1,580 km — a 17-hour trip — back home. I was willing to push the vehicle to its limits on this drive.

When I arrived at the dealership, I took a quick test drive. Upon returning, I noticed the tires were weather damaged and cracking. This was a complete shock, especially since I had already invested in flights, accommodation, and meals. Despite this setback, I decided to proceed with the purchase at $14,750 CAD.

When signing the paperwork, I was handed a sheet listing the vehicle’s issues — but notably, the tires were not mentioned. At that point, it was too late to back out and I was fully committed.

After driving away, dashboard indicators lit up, including a stabilizer system maintenance warning. What bothers me the most is not the extra work required but the fact that I was never informed about the vehicle’s condition or the real risks of driving it 17 hours back home.

Emile’s misleading and careless attitude toward a customer’s well-being is unacceptable. I will never do business with this dealership again. Consider this a warning to all future customers.
