I brought my puppy in for his first appointment today, and it was also my first visit. Keyshanna was absolutely fantastic. She was so great with Mack, answered all of my questions, and made us both feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything was clear, quick, and professional. Her kindness and genuine care really stood out, and she made what could have been a stressful first visit a great experience. Easily a 10/10 customer service experience. Highly recommend!

The staff were nice you can tell they are trying. They just don’t seem to be selling healthy animals which is sad. This lizard was sick not moving but was there for sale. Please don’t buy animals from petsmart.

Very poor customer service in pet care. I waited 20 minutes for assistance in the pet care department, with no one in sight. Hoses were left sticking out of aquariums and a ladder blocked other aquariums. Many of the fish were sickly, some with fin clamp, some underweight likely due to parasites. When I requested assistance, Mackenzie arrived having been paged, and began questioning my ability to care for fish. I assured her I had a decade of professional experience in pet care, and that the density of fish was much lower than my tank could accommodate. She continued to question me until I gave up and left, without making a purchase.

PetSmart, it's important to advocate for pet health. It's not okay to harass and berate customers well beyond the point a customer has shown strength in pet care. Make sure your fish and animals are in good health before you let employees interrogate other's ability to care for pets.

Cash was barracaded and people were confused as to how to pay, and again, no one was watching the cash.

Several of the stocking staff were very kind and helpful, which is the only reason this is not a one star review.

I will not return, and recommend anyone who would like healthy fish and helpful service to look elsewhere.

Very friendly staff and they sell the very nice Dog Harness Kong Ultra, it's quite hard to find, Amazon sells it 125$, meanwhile they offer it for 49.99$!

If you even think about wanting to buy a fish from this store you're better offer paying the money for a fishing license and finding the nearest river and jumping in. To say that this experience was smooth and seamless would be the understatement of the century. The staff were incredibly rude when it came to buying fish, we were talked down to and asked for our ID. When the fish were bagged and brought to the front to pay it was then brought to our attention that ALL the fish in the store are carrying a disease and that they can't sell them. Not sure if they've contacted any animal health and safety but I will be doing that next.

Took my dog in a few weekends ago and ended up at the Merivale location, where I thought I had booked the appointment — but it was actually scheduled at the Heron location. Emily, the groomer I was booked with, was incredibly understanding and still agreed to groom my dog even though I arrived about 30 minutes late.

Emily truly exceeded my expectations — she listened carefully to my concerns and directions, and did a beautiful job. My boy came out looking great and in such good spirits. I really appreciate her kindness and the care she put into her work. I’ll definitely be sticking with her for our next appointment!

Brought my cat there,to be groomed the groomer.
Was kind friendly polite, but sorry to say.
I was not happy, with the way she was groomed.
They did not,get all the mats out.
Location on Heron road Ottawa Ontario.
They shaved some of,the mats right down to the skin.
Her coat looks, worse then when I brought her in.

I would like,my money returned to me.
To pet owners look, else where don't waste you're time or money.
My cats coat,does not feel the same.
As before after,they did such a terrible job.
I don't believe,they even care.
I was at my,vet the next day she got.
Rid of the mats on her belly.
And of her, nails were cut.😡

Emilie at the grooming salon did an absolutely flawless job on my one-and-a-half-year-old Portuguese Water Dog. My dog can be quite nervous going to the salon, but she visibly relaxed the moment she saw Emilie, which is the surest sign of a kind, skilled, and top-notch groomer. I also really appreciated her thoroughness and concern with a potential ear infection situation. Thank you, Emilie!

Shannon went above and beyond in helping me choose the right food for my cats with kidney issues. She patiently walked me through all the options, even taking the time to go shelf by shelf to explain and recommend the best choices. We had Lola in today for a bath, ear cleaning,
nail trimming, teeth cleaning and feathers trimmed (gold retriever) very unhappy(:
With the results while she certainly was trimmed not evenly I might add she did not receive a bath as she smelt just like we brought her in! The bill was s135.00 which I find atrocious!! They never even gave her a bandana! Very expensive for a trim of feathers and ear ckeaning we knew the teeth was an extra $15 but not expecting such a high price
Never going back I know a private groomer would not be anymore money and would be done right
