We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Bedford Village Inn! From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. Olivia was so kind, welcoming, and amazing to work with. She made the entire planning process seamless and helped bring our vision to life.
Our wedding weekend this past July was truly unforgettable. The courtyard ceremony was absolutely beautiful, the property was the perfect backdrop for our day, and every detail was handled with so much care. The entire BVI staff went above and beyond, and our day-of bridal attendant/coordinators were incredibly helpful and attentive.
The food was outstanding—from our welcome party to our reception and late-night snacks, our guests are still raving about it! Having everything in one location made the entire weekend feel effortless and enjoyable for both us and our guests. Allyson from Group Bookings was also wonderful to work with and helped ensure our guests had a smooth experience.
We are so grateful to the entire Bedford Village Inn team for making our wedding weekend everything we dreamed of. The service, attention to detail, and genuine care from everyone we worked with were truly exceptional. We couldn’t recommend BVI more highly!

For years, this establishment has been a favorite destination for my family. My wife and I, along with our three young children, have proudly considered ourselves loyal regulars. However, a recent and incredibly disheartening experience has ensured we will never return.
We recently arrived a half-hour early for our 5:30 PM reservation to find both the indoor dining room and the patio almost entirely empty. Given the beautiful weather and the abundance of vacant outdoor tables, I politely asked if we might be seated on the patio instead.
Rather than accommodating a simple request, or even politely declining, the manager chose to berate me. I was spoken to like a child and threatened with a $125 fee simply for requesting a table change, bizarrely accused of making a "backup reservation," and lectured about how my polite inquiry was somehow a grave injustice to the waitstaff.
It is very disappointing to see a venue we once loved operate with such staggering entitlement and a total lack of basic grace. True hospitality is rooted in customer appreciation and respect—concepts this management team desperately needs to relearn.
Diners have countless choices of where to spend their time and hard-earned money. It is a profound shame that this restaurant has chosen to alienate the very patrons who have supported them for years with such inexplicable arrogance and outright rudeness

We went in for lunch on my wife's birthday and had a really wonderful lunch with great service. My wife had the French Dip on a sub roll with a couple of glasses of wine and I had the Turkey sandwich on brioche with a glass of wine. Awesome portions and for what we thought were reasonable prices- you'd pay as much elsewhere and you would not be as happy! The fries were hand cut and really crispy and seasoned- they should enter Best Fries in NH voting. We had the decadent chocolate cake for dessert and the pastry chef sent out a chocolate disk with berries and homemade whipped cream- both were a really nice ending to a great lunch. We worked in fine dining restaurants for Swiss trained chefs, been to many restaurants, had similar meals, paid about the same for similar items and came away feeling- eh, it was okay. Great job!

Dining was elegant for Easter Dinner but food was not up to par or price. The bisque and chowder were very good but we weren't allowed to split and have salad and soup. Pear and arugula salad was excellent. My friend and I split the soup at the table once we procured an extra bowl. Understand that chef cared about the presentation if the bisque with dribbled flavors in the decorative flavored oils....in the beautiful scalloped edged white bowl. My friend got the duck. Ordered it medium, found the skin unappealing and difficult to cut off. She thought the duck breast was tough, I thought it was as tender as a medium steak, not a rare one. My husband's grilled eggplant was served on cold chick peas. Not worth price of $85 for prix fixe pricing. My braised lamb was very tasty but overly salty due to salty olives and parmesean crumble. Served with lots of cavatelli,it was tasty rebaked as leftovers. The berry crunch was super stoney and sour with very little crumble. A mixed quality meal not worth the price although elegance was nice with the beautiful place settings and waitress very nice. Not our best meal here.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful baby shower brunch for my daughter at the BVI. Julia, our event coordinator and was so helpful in helping us plan and the day was perfect! We booked the private East Room, which is lovely, and it was so nice to laugh and chat without worrying about disturbing adjacent tables. Hunter, our server, was excellent and her cheerful attitude and upbeat energy kept everyone smiling and their glasses full. We never felt rushed so everyone, especially the Mom-to-be, could truly relax and enjoy the day. The brunch menu was excellent and our guests were very pleased with their tasty choices. From the moment we arrived the BVI staff were very welcoming and helped to make our event as special as it was. Thank you!
