This used to be the best gas station in Chicago until the coffee machine broke the gas prices are great. They got good food but the coffee machine is broke. What the hell fix the coffee machine I don’t care about great gas prices. I care about coffee fix the damn machine.

Security guards at this BP gas station—which Google Maps lists as open 24 hours—told me it was closed when I arrived at 11:33 PM on September 20th. It is a disgrace; I have no desire to return to this gas station in central Chicago, and I do not recommend it to you either.

I tried getting gas and the cashier was laughing with her friends not listening to me. She put the gas on the wrong pump and blamed me for apparently mumbling. She said she voided the transaction, but I never saw that money again.

Complaint About Security Guard’s Behavior

Today at 11:35 AM, I arrived at your gas station to pull in, fill up my car, and use the restroom. The sign on the door states that you are open 24/7, yet the security guard stopped me and refused to let me enter.

I approached him again and politely, humanly explained that I really needed to use the restroom and that it would take no more than one minute. Instead of helping, he said, “Bro, we are closed,” took out a cigarette, and started smoking, completely ignoring my request.

At the same time, he was allowing other people to go in, while continuing to deny entry only to me. From my perspective, this looked like unfair and potentially discriminatory treatment, especially since there was no clear reason for refusing me.

This behavior is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. After this incident, I can say that I will never visit your location again. I am requesting an explanation as to why the security guard denies entry to customers at a station advertised as being open 24/7, and why a simple, reasonable request was ignored.
