We ordered 2 sandwiches,
1 jerk chicken no spice no tomatoes.
It had tomatoes and peppers
1 fish with all the toppings. It came with 0 toppings and only a small amount of Scott's sauce.
I've eaten here before and the sandwiches were very descent.
Serious let down for our Friday lunch.

I placed a catering order last weekend and I was very impressed with the ordering process from beginning to end. The service was on point, the restaurant was also very clean, and I loved the choice of music (soca)being played when I picked up the order. However, I was disappointed by the lack of "Caribbean" flavours in the food. The Cajun Fish- I think there was too much batter and salt and too little flavour. The Turmeric rice was flaky but again, lacked flavour. The curry Channa and Potatoes, were okay. I did not have any of the BBQ chicken, but the feedback from my friends was that it was a tad bit salty and yet again, lacking flavour. I also ordered the pineapple salsa and coleslaw...my favourite was the salsa because the pineapple chunks appeared to be grilled which brought out the flavours.
As it being my first time visiting, I did not have any expectations other that receiving tasty food and unfortunately, they did not deliver on taste.

I recently purchased the oxtail stew and beef patties for the first time. While the oxtail was satisfactory and the portion size was generous, the beef patties were underwhelming. Although the filling had the correct color and flavor, the actual beef content was scarce. It was surprising to have a beef patty with almost no beef in it. Sometimes a photo is the only way to truly show how little filling there actually is. It’s one thing to describe it, but seeing a "hollow" patty really drives the point home for other customers.

Was disappointed with the portion size. Taste was really good but if they want to charge that much for their food, it’s can’t be mostly rice. The bowls look big but it’s filled with a lot of rice. The oxtail bowl had hardly any meat, mostly big pieces of bones. Very deceiving. The jerk chicken even though boneless was thin cuts of thigh meat. I ordered mild but to me it was spicy. So perhaps if you can’t handle spice, just say no spice.

Scotty Bons Caribbean Grill is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic Caribbean flavors. We ordered the jerk chicken, and honestly, it was a blessing — so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning hit the perfect balance of spice and smokiness, making every bite a delight. The portion was generous, and the presentation was simple but inviting.

The restaurant itself has a casual, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while the food was amazing, the service was a little slow at times, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the meal.

Overall, Scotty Bons is a must-try for anyone looking for delicious Caribbean food. The jerk chicken alone is worth the visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

I really liked the Scarborough location but this place disappointed me. I got the oxtail bowl, I feel like they don't give enough oxtail and fill up your bowl more with the rice and vegetables.

The service is really quick and efficient.

I found the oxtail not to have much flavour even with all their sauce and garnishes, for 17.65 plus two dollars more for oxtail it is not worth it.

I feel Chris jerk oxtail had so much more flavour, I don't think I will come back here, price not worth it and it lacks flavor.

We came here along time ago when it was a bit crowded, now it's practically a beautifully designed palace. The food especially the OxTail was just fantastic, flavourful and delicious. The atmosphere was fresh and roomy with comfortable chairs and tables... The BBQ chicken is perfectly cooked and very tasty.

Got the jerk chicken sandwich and curry chicken bowl. The jerk chicken sandwich was on a coco bun with toppings, then grilled. It was flavourful, fresh and the chicken was juicy. Had a bit of a kick to it as well. The curry chicken bowl was also quite flavourful & I like how it comes with different toppings. The bowl is a very large portion.
Oh and the plantain was to die for. Would definitely come back to try the other meats.

Halal Carribean food! Can't go wrong!

Tried the oxtail bowl with rice and chana, and it did not disappoint. The oxtail was tender, well-seasoned, and flavorful. I also appreciated the choice of toppings, allowing customization.

The beef patty was also a hit, especially with the kids—it had just the right amount of spice and a flaky, delicious crust.

Been in this place a couple of times and it never Disappoints.
I recommend the Jerk Chicken, Bbq Chicken and the best Curry Goat I've ever had.
The Place itself is clean and very well organized.
Staffs are nice,friendly and helpful.
