Easy lease renewal process. I'm not exactly happy with the rent increase or that I now have to pay for internet service, since free Internet was a major reason I moved here. I like the location . It's very close to my place of employment and the complex is mostly peaceful. Lots of kids, so the pool and playground areas are typically noisy of course. No big deal. I appreciate my new fenced in yard area so my dogs and I can enjoy time outside without having to walk over to the dog park. Overall I think living here is an average experience which isn't a bad thing. One other thing, I live in a 3 bedroom apartment. There is only 1 window unit sized air conditioner to cool the entire apartment which is really uncomfortable during the summer.

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
I've been a tenant in this apartment for over a year, and I can tell the difference when the owner changed. Last January, I requested that a roommate be added. I didn't receive any updates at all. I have to keep calling them, which is frustrating because last year it only took them a week to add a roommate.
By March, I have another roommate to add. Anissa, the leasing agent, told me to WAIT AGAIN for another document to sign since I'm adding another roommate. A month passed and I didn't heard from them again. I kept calling them because they're not gonna do anything about it unless you won't follow up OFTEN.
And then we encountered another problem: They couldn't track my roommate's application fee receipt in their system. April 30, they told us to go to the office. I thought we were gonna sign the document at that time, only to be frustrated AGAIN that my roommates need to reapply and that this time, to fill out the forms. Another agent told me not to bother with the $50 on the bilt site since they're gonna give me a discount on my next rent payment. Take note, MY ROOMMATES ARE STILL NOT ADDED TO MY LEASE!
Another month passed, and finally, on May 30, we signed the document. I asked about the $50 discount I'm gonna have. Anissa told me to send her the proof of my roommate's application fee receipt, which I already did a month ago. She then told me to wait again for the $50 refund. And since my payment is nearing its due date, I paid it without getting the discount/refund they promised.

DJ is the best maintenance person I've ever had! Very friendly, helpful and always tries to find a solution. He deserves a raise. :)
Opal at the office front desk was also very helpful and kind.
Had a great 8 years at Sun Prairie. Beautiful surroundings, love the trails and pond view I had at building 6377. Vaulted ceilings on 3rd floor made it feel bigger.
My apartment had basic appliances and cabinetry, etc. I used my own a/c unit because it worked better than the one I was provided. But I've seen the newer updates in other apartments and they are very nice. Once tenants move out they upgrade to a more modern look.
The parcel room made packages easy to pick up.
Overall I'd recommend giving this place a tour to check it out.

I have lived here for a year, and things have gotten significantly worse under the new management. Due to increasing costs and poor communication, I chose not to renew my lease and would recommend looking elsewhere.
- Rental Cost Increases
When I moved in, rent was $875/month and included all utilities except electricity. I recently received my renewal offer, and the new base rent is now $1,000/month for the exact same unit. I understand rent increases happen, but utilities are no longer included. Internet and water, which were previously covered, are now additional charges on top of the $125 rent increase.
- Lack of Communication
About two months ago, I noticed an additional $15 renter’s insurance charge added to my rent, even though I already had proof of my own renter’s insurance on file. Instead of notifying residents that updated documentation was needed due to management changes, the office added the fee to everyone’s account without warning. It took an additional week to get reimbursed after I contacted them.
Several buildings have also experienced water shutoffs for “emergency maintenance” during the year I have lived here. While maintenance issues happen, residents were not proactively notified. I only discovered the issue when my water stopped working and had to call the leasing office multiple times before someone answered.
I also used the gym reimbursement program. The first reimbursement was approved through email as instructed. However, when I followed the same process a second time, I later learned in person that reimbursements were no longer being handled through email because the employee responsible now “works from home.” No notice was ever sent about this change, so I waited over a month for a response that never came.

I enjoy the view from my patio, the location is perfect for my needs. On the very rare occasions I have had a maintenance problem, the response was swift and helpful. Nick, with marketing, is always prompt and helpful. I find the package delivery room convenient and safe for my deliveries. The playground is always well maintained and my grandchildren enjoy visiting.
