I’ve brought my dog here for a few grooming appointments and early on I had really good experiences but his last two appointments were really disappointing. They started taking 3-4 hours on a 12lb dog, when previously they did it in 1.5-2 hours. Even after the long wait, his fur is uneven and sometimes they cut too close to the skin and I find him licking to self soothe after appointments. His body language also indicates that he really dislikes going here, his tail is down when we walk by & he’s shaking which was not my experience at his previous groomer. I only switched because we moved downtown and I needed someone closer but it’s not worth it; I’d rather make the drive.

10 out of 10 across the board. From the very first phone call to picking up my dog after his first grooming session, the experience exceeded every expectation. My dog, Tuba, is a rescue mastiff mix, and this was his first time ever visiting a groomer, so I was understandably cautious. The entire team took the time to understand his background, temperament, and needs, and approached the experience with patience, care, and professionalism.

They were intentional about ensuring Tuba felt safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the session, and it was clear that his well being was their top priority. Communication was clear and thoughtful, and both my dog and I were treated with respect at every step. Their expertise is evident, but what truly stands out is their genuine compassion and love for dogs.

After this first experience, I already know I will be a loyal customer. I am extremely grateful for the care they provided and for making Tuba’s first grooming experience such a positive one. This is a team that takes great pride in their work, and it shows. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, and truly caring grooming service.

Bhaloo is my lovely but anxious labradoodle. I took him here while visiting Toronto for the holidays (after we drove here from Cali so he was looking a little rough). From the get go, even while booking the appointment, I could tell I was talking to animal lovers. They were sweet and curious about him and incredibly responsive to the call, giving us a next day appointment even during the holiday season. Additionally, Bhaloo does not have your average doodle cut and they took time for me to explain all the aspects of what I wanted. The result? The best version of Bhaloo I have seen in a while! We love his cut. His tail which was quite matted is combed out and shiny. The trim is neat and clean. I wish we lived here so I could make this his permanent spa grooming experience!

Dog Spa & World has been amazing for my dog Sparky! Every visit, he is treated with so much care and kindness. The staff are patient, professional, and you can tell they truly love animals. Sparky always comes back looking clean, well-groomed, and most importantly, happy and relaxed.

The place is safe, spotless, and welcoming — which makes me feel completely at ease leaving Sparky in their care. I really appreciate how they pay attention to the small details and make sure he’s comfortable throughout the whole process.

It’s rare to find a place that balances skill with genuine love for pets, but Dog Spa & World does it perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone who wants their dog pampered and cared for the right way! 🐶💙

I took my Yorkie to the groomer for her first spa and bath experience when she was just a puppy, around 7 months old or even younger. She had an amazing time at the grooming place, and the groomers were very friendly. However, every time I try to book an appointment, they are always fully booked. I hope to be able to schedule in advance next time because I’m really satisfied with the work they do. When I pick up my little one, I am always happy with how she looks.

Dog World Resort & Spa really is a wonderful place. My favourite part about bringing in my puppy for daycare is the socialization he gets. Not only is Fergus happy to go to Dog World, but he also greets staff and his furry pals in the park and in our local neighborhood. When your dog is happy to see his daycare attendant waiting for transit, you know the space is full of love. Every time you visit, its obvious the staff genuinely want to be there and are ready to greet your pet with open arms. Check out the adorable report card folder they give you when you get started to store your pets progress reports. I haven’t found anything this adorable.

First two times i went there they were great.

3rd time, my dog looked really bad, the hair in his paws were not trimmed, i had to go back the second day to get it down. I was like maybe there was miscommunication or something.

4th time, my dog got issues with his ears, since i got him from there and he would stop scratching his ears. The second day the wax was getting buildup more and more. I keep cleaning it and having some ears solution to help. But he had the worst days ever and lasted a week before he calmed down and his ears were cleared up.

I contacted them and they were very much nice and telling me how they clean the ears or do the ears unplugging. But honestly I never had an issue with my dog’s ears till that day. So sometimes was NOT done right.

But still i gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I went last week and explained how i want my dog hair cut to look like, and they when have a photo of him on his profile showing how i like it to be. I emphasized on the circular face and i want his hair to be short but not too short as we are going to a hot destination and I don’t want any issues with his skin if the hair was too short. I literally said i want it to be 1/2” short.
We talked about his ears and they said they will be extremely cautious with his ears.

I got my dog and literally NOTHING was done as i said.
He did not have a circular face, and very short hair, there is spot that u can see it was SHAVED, i don’t know how I am going to protect his skin when we are in a 37 degree weather destination.

I check his ears and literally they did NOTHING to them. The hair was not unplugged at all. Not sure if they even cleaned them.

Also on top of all of that they ask you to pay and tip before you even see your pet. The tip there seems like an entitlement. Show me your service first and if I like it, I will tip. Period.

I gave them enough chances. Never going there again.
