Nobody likes moving and packing and hauling stuff around, but finding this storage facility right in between were I was living and where I moved to was fantastic! The manager Evangeline helped me decide on the best size locker for my needs, as well as finding a good value for my money. Throughout the 3 years I kept the locker, I always had a positive interaction with all staff. I would stop by on my way home from work, and dealt with Evangeline and Devanshi for the most part. Everybody was helpful, specially when I needed to have the lock removed after loosing the key. Yikes! Overall, I had a positive experience. I will definitely consider this central location to Burnaby, Vancouver, New Westminster and close to Hwy 1 in the future. Thank you all.

Rented here @Kinross location. Evangeline and Devanshi are amazing. Very professional and very kind and helpful. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Very secured and safe. With promotions they have, the price is very reasonable. Would recommend this Public Storage Kinross. Thank you for taking care of my belongings.

We used Public Storage to facilitate our move out of River Distric back to our home on Marpole that has been redeveloped. The staff was friendly, professional and very accommodating to our needs. The cost was reasonable and the locker we got was excellent. The entire facility is clean and modern and we did not experience any issues during the 4 months that we used their facilities. I want to thank the staff of Public Storage for their service and kindness towards us.

The 2 staff members that helped me were very friendly, informative and educated about the facilities. Looks clean. Haven’t moved stuff in yet, but good experience so far. Well organized.
One thing though, the storage facilities were not the advertised sizes, I looked at supposed 5’x5’ was more like 4’4”x 4’6” I happened to have a measuring tape from something I was doing earlier that day the 5’x10’ more like 4’7” x 8’ 11” so they need to brush up on their measurements. Still all else seems great! 👍

Got an awesome deal on a 10' by 15' promotion that was only $1 for the first month. Booking online was simple and the staff called to see if I needed any help. When I arrived for my appt, Devanshi and Jaspreet were very helpful and welcoming and I was setup and ready to go in minutes. I was surprised by how smooth and painless the whole process was.

Building seems really new and the storage areas were very clean.

I rented a 10x20 unit at this Public Storage location for over four years, and my company had been using the same locker for years even before that. Despite the long-term business relationship, my experience has been consistently negative.

The biggest issue was the constant yearly rent increases without any additional services or support. By the end, I was paying close to $900 per month for the unit. Even simple requests for help, such as removing empty pallets, skids, or connecting me with a junk removal contact were always refused. I understand it’s not something they have to do, but customer service goes a long way. I had to pay a third party out of pocket just to manage what should have been a basic service, especially considering how many deliveries this facility sees each day.

I also faced frequent problems with management and customer service. Deliveries for other tenants were mistakenly placed in my locker a few times. When I asked management for help sorting it out, they did step in only because I insisted but not without reminding me that it “wasn’t really their job” or responsibility to deal with those mistakes. I understand errors happen, but the dismissive way they handled situations was frustrating, especially since staff are the ones who see tenants coming and going and have access to entry logs that could have made resolving issues faster. On another occasion, a delivery driver broke my only key to the unit. Instead of the staff notifying me right away, I only discovered it when another driver couldn’t access my own locker, which caused me to miss deliveries.

Adding to the frustration, respectful emails about rent increases were ignored, and even basic amenities like bathroom access were inconvenient. Spending hours working in the locker without reliable support or facilities was extremely difficult.

In the end, I moved to another storage company where I now pay around $400 less per month for the same size unit, with management that actually provides support for skids, pallets, and junk removal.

While I was a long-term customer, I cannot recommend this Public Storage location. The high rent, lack of services, poor customer support, and dismissive management ultimately forced me to take my business elsewhere.

It's fun reading reviews expecting exceptional service and you end up being judged the moment you stepped in and pressured into services you never asked for.

I didn't know signing up for the $1 first month meant my input and considerations were not important, that's how it felt stepping into this location. I signed up online and accidentally booked the unit for the day after. I contacted the call center and they said the location should be flexible enough to let me check-in a day early (the intended day).

I guess I caught the manager on a bad day because they did whatever they could to make my experience worse by not allowing me to check-in a day earlier even though my unit was available, they tried to make me sign up for another $1 unit and pay the administration fee again. Not only that, they pressured me into getting insurance and signing up for pre-authorized payments when it wasn't required and I was told it was. I later confirmed with the call center that it may be required for other plans but not for the $1 first month.

The manager just didn't want to bother with the process required to let me in a day early. I had things to store and had to make alternate accommodations and return a day later. I understand that it is my mistake but having no flexibility when the unit is unoccupied just shows how much she cared.

I thought this would all be over after I checked out and notified them weeks before the end of my rental. I even went into the office twice to re-confirm and being told I won't expect to pay and that I would be completely fine.

An e-mail reminder for an upcoming payment due said otherwise and it is not surprising that I can't reach the office and have to go through the call center again.

Overall my faith and trust in Public Storage is at an all time low and I should've paid the premium to book at a competitor who knows how to treat their customers. The Kinross location is solely to blame for my poor experience and how I view Public Storage as a whole.

Edit: Call center can't help and I have to go through the office. I managed to finally reach someone and they confirmed that they have checked me out and not to worry about the upcoming payment. My review still stands as this has been unnecessarily stressful.

I had such a great experience at this Public Storage location. Jaspreet and Everglin were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process.

It was my first time using a storage unit, so I had a lot of questions and wasn’t sure about the procedures. But they patiently explained everything to me — more than once — and made me feel very comfortable.

I didn’t believe in Christmas miracles until I experienced the kindness of Heamnath and Evangeline at Public Storage. I was running nearly 30 minutes late after closing time on 31st December, and with tomorrow being a holiday, I was in a tough spot with no place to stay. I called them to ask if they could stay a little longer, and they graciously agreed. Not only were they incredibly polite and efficient, but they also understood the stress of moving and the challenges that can arise. Their willingness to go above and beyond turned my day around, and I’m truly grateful for their help. This experience really made me believe in the power of kindness and exceptional customer service. They went above n beyond to ensure I was cared for!

I've rented a locker space from PS storage for the last 4 years. My experience in dealing with the staff at the facility has been great. They are always very helpful and accommodating, always going the extra mile.

I am currently moving to another locker space within the facility. Ravineet has made the process seamless and so easy. She is very personable and helpful.
