Don't go to this Salon....they are shady and not straight up with their pricing. Prices are made up as they go along. I have been there a few times as I like their cuts but every time I went, the price was different and extremely overpriced. I decided to go elsewhere as I resent people ripping me off. They are not the only good hairdressers. I believe they deliberately don't have a price list posted in the Salon or a proper one on their website so this way they can charge whatever they feel like on that day. The sister of the owner acts like she owns the place and I tend to believe she makes up the prices, is allowed to do so, and she pockets the difference. I agree with all of the previous posts. This is ridiculous. They are stupid as they will eventually lose business more and more. This is not how you attract and retain customers. They will never have the opportunity to rip me off again.

Went to Expo Hair Studio to get my hair color, the owners daughter did my hair as I thought they knew what they were doing. After waiting for a long period I was eventually finished. Went to the casher who is the owner’s sister, I was told that my bill was $230.00. I was in shock as the told me they did a color correction and color, no hair cut, highlight or style. I was literally speechless, when I ask the casher for an itemized bill to see exactly what I was being charged for she just ignored me. The people who own and work here are scam artists, this is not the first time they overcharged me or try to get me to purchase some over priced products. I would not be going back there nor would I recommend anyone to go there.

The people who work here are scam artists. I bought a groupon for a wash, cut, full colour and highlights. After I went in, the owner Sherry examined my hair and told me she's going to charge an additional 25 dollars for my hair being too thick and long--so absurd because I actually have very thin hair and the groupon terms was they can charge only up to 15 dollars additional for long hair. Even though I had told her I want just a trim, to my horror she chopped off 5 inches and told me my hair was too long-and she still charged me for "long" hair that she made shoulder length. I agree with the other reviewers that they are extremely pushy and do their own thing. The groupon is just a trick to get you in the door. They end up adding so much to your total that you end up paying more than regular price.

bought a groupon to get cut and partial highlights and color, not pleased with service, I had one person do color and highlights, then another washing hair and after another blowdrying hair, what am I expected to leave a tip for every single person doing my hair, ridicolous. Found that the owner was pushy and abrupt and I was over charged as well, I paid 60 dollars for cut, blowdry, color and partial color, do not know why I was charged an extra. No very pleased at all and would not go back.

I had bought an Expo Hair voucher on Groupon. It was fairly cheap for a haircut, wash, blowdry, full colour and highlights for $79. But it wasnt worth a penny. The owners of the place were very pushy and intimidating. I had bought extensions, and had asked to have the colour of my hair that colour. After the long process, the colours were even CLOSE. completely off. I had dark chocolate brown extensions and my hair was a light brown. On top of this, my haircut wasnt even when i had checked it out at home. It was a complete waste of money and time. I do not recommend at all.

I went to Expo for highlights earlier this week. I had paid in advance for full colour and highlights, a cut and blow dry however after my consultation agreed to do only half head. Having paid for a full head, I expected my half to be done with care as they were already making more money on me than they should have. The shade of blonde I received is nice however I was left with very obvious roots from my previous colour. There were sections that were simply missed. My cut was okay however I had asked for a trim of no more than 1/2" and lost over 2". I decided to go back and ask them to fix my roots. The stylist was less than happy to hear from me and I was made to feel like a secondary consumer as soon as I walked in. I watched everyone entering and being greeted, offered a drink or coffee, etc. I was left to stand around (literally) until a chair became available - I had an appointment. Although the colour is better, it is not fixed by any means and I will wind up paying another stylist to correct it. In addition, they tried to charge me another $30 for the blow dry - this is ridiculous! I was only there because they didn't do the right thing in the first place. To charge me to dry my hair after re-doing colour is unacceptable and I didn't pay. Don't waste your money or your time.

My friend recommended Monica from Expo Hair Studio and though the place was not so close to my work, I traveled there to have my hair cut. After carefully examining my hair colour and style, Monica recommended to do low-lights which I have never done before. I went out of the salon looking 10 years younger and received a lot of compliments later. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. Irina
