We rented a large storage space at Public Storage, Ottawa, and had a very good experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful and answered our many questions, especially since we were from out of town helping a relative in Ottawa store household items for 4 months. Would recommend this storage facility. Staff excellent.

I had booked a locker to store my things at the Orleans location of this business. Everything was going fine, we were all set to go, then I had the misfortune of speaking to the manager of this location, Pamela, she was very disrespectful toward me, interrupted me, talked down to me, and was very argumentative about everything. She was so rude to me, that I cancelled all my business with this company and I will never do business with them.

The issue arose when I asked her to produce an invoice, I was trying to take advantage of a government benefit. The process required me to provide an invoice for the first three months of costs, then after that the charges go onto my credit card. When she realized I wanted to access this government benefit, her attitude became extremely disrespectful, not letting me finish, cutting me off, arguing about the information I was passing on about the procedure I was told to follow. She was literally talking down to me for trying to access a government benefit.

I have a good credit rating, credit cards, and the means to pay, but why not get the help for a government benefit. She started telling me that she had a lot of experience dealing with people like me. Her behaviour was discriminatory and completely unacceptable.

I would not recommend this location because the manager is argumentative, disrespectful, and all because I asked for an invoice. I explained to her very clearly that I would supply a credit card to pay if there were any issues, but she was down right belligerent. I have never been treated like this by a business, if you don't count predatory landlords, lol. Beware of the manager, she bytes, lol. There are plenty of storage places that will treat you with respect, this is not place.

An excellent facility! Staff were ALWAYS patient, kind and helpful - on the phone, email or in-person. The pricing is very good and units easily accessible (drive up). We recommend!!

I had a locker with them for many years, and i can easily say that their employees are very professional, efficient, fast, reliable, kind and caring. I was waiting on the second waste management truck (to empty my locker in part) during a heat wave and they offered my husband and I a chair to sit on. Would recommend this company!

The place is clean and safe. However, I faced two issues: 1) When we went there to store the stuff, we had to wait two hours for the office to open because the manager was on their way from Montreal. This means we ended up paying extra to our movers 2) At the time of checking out (we had rented for 1.5 years), we went to the place but could not enter the premises because the code that was written for us did not work. It turned out they had flipped the code. This meant a waste of our time again because we were there off hours and office was closed. No compensation was provided in either of the two events.

I've been with public storage since 2020, the staff has been nothing short of amazing throughout the years. My belongings felt safe & secure at all times, very pleased with the overall experience and I'm happy to say I've made multiple friends from this. Im moving so today was my last day Feb 06 2025... It's crazy to think I'll miss a storage facility but here we are, I definitely recommend!

As a Handyman service company, I needed a place to store my equipment as my company grew. Pam and Sultana were very helpful and showed me the different units that could fit my stuff. I even got a promotional deal!
