I got a good deal on a fish tank, but am pretty annoyed that they put a sticker on it advertising 25% coupons for supplies inside when there weren't any coupons to be found. The worst part is the sticker was not easy to remove and left part of itself stuck fast to the glass. This may be a small thing, but a big inconvenience for nothing, in my opinion. Now I will have to scrub it off with a solvent. Any stickers put directly on glass should at least be designed to be easily peeled off. If i have to put in effort to properly remove the sticker, at least include the coupons referenced on the sticker.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR GROOMING SERVICES.
I had a very disappointing experience at the grooming service inside PetSmart, and I think other customers should be aware before booking. We paid for specific services that were never completed. Not only was the work left unfinished, but there was also no clear explanation or accountability from the staff. When we tried to address the situation, both the groomer and the store manager handled it poorly, showing very little interest in resolving the issue in a fair or professional way. The only “solution” we were offered was to bring the dog back another day. That’s simply not reasonable. Anyone familiar with grooming knows that taking a dog back again can be unnecessarily stressful, and it completely ignores the inconvenience caused to the customer. It felt like a dismissive response rather than a genuine attempt to fix the problem.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and careless. It didn’t reflect the level of service you would expect when trusting a business with something as important as your pet.
There are definitely better options out there. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Always my go to place for my menagerie of 6 cats, 2 snakes, 1 tarantula, and 1 rescued goldfish from Hastings creek.
Big shout out to Marianna Friday morning, Feb 13th. She made sure I got all the points I could to go towards my next purchase, getting me over $20 in savings. Along with her glowing personality she really is a shining star at this location.

Kayleigh and the salon team did an amazing job with my dog, who is typically somewhat anxious about salon visits. Very happy with the hair cut and nail trim she received, and I highly recommend their services! Thank you Petsmart salon team! We will be back!

This store has been amazing and I truly feel bad that so many are saying they decided to not order crickets which are all lies! The staff were very friendly and explained how they get their orders in automatically but due to the cold most bugs do not survive the journey to the store. Thos store is always clean and they do a great job of trying to keep it stocked up and fill in holes where needed. I have worked retail for over 20yrs and I have never seen such an organized location. I truly wish people who dont ask or talk to the staff make false reviews with comments that are baseless lies. If you want to go to a great petstore with informative staff North Vancouver PetSmart is the best

Love how Petsmart decided for me all winter that my cricket eating lizards did not need food. They opted to not stock them during the winter.
The tiny short manager ever had the audacity to tell me to just grab worms… pointed to the shelf… and didn’t even have any in stock. Mind you some of my critter are STRICTLY cricket. This is absolutely disgusting. Having worked there years ago, I know that this was a choice made by management NOT by their higher ups. From the lack of care to their fish and almost always empty fish wall, to the smell of mould in the store. Everything about this location is horrible. I could go on and on about the horror stories of this specific location.
But I’ll wrap it up by stating forcing your customers pets to starve for the winter, WHILE BEING A PETSTORE, is utterly disgusting, disappointing and should be under some for a negligent or abuse.

Thank you to Kaleigh in grooming services for taking great care of our puppy Moto. It was his first time at the groomers and she was very attentive to his needs. She even let him go first so that he could be in and out quicker. Thank you!

have done many times wash and grooming for our little puppy with petsmart at this location, and we are disappointed for this time. As a 6-month puppy parent's, we are sad to see our little boy's hair are cut very short (something we even never done in summer, he is just a small breed little puppy). We have requested the second longest hair type BEFORE the grooming. It's currently in an autumn winter weather, who will have a very short haircut for puppy?!!!! When we are back home, we find out part of hair on the back of our puppy's ear is gone!!! (can clearly see his skin!!!) We are 100% sure it is not a "style" as only one side has this issue. It is his first grooming and wash after his neuter, we pretty sure that we have detangle most of his hair before sending him to grooming just in case that they need to shave his hair. We understand they need to shave the hair sometimes if there ara tangles but they should not do that without any advise/notice in advance. We try not to write this on Google review as we did have good experiences for previously grooming. But we finally decided to post this as we don't want other puppy come across this situation.

My toy poodle had several grooming at the North van location. the last one was terrible. Miss cuts were everywhere on her body , head and legs. While booking I asked to have the specific groomer but she was on maternity leave. Then I have been offered to have another groomer who is the team leader of the saloon. I shouldn't trust that.
